Can you clarify your question?
Hello: I think with caught a major problem. When we said we checked our return we were correct: SCHEDULE 2 Additional Taxes (Form 1040 or 1040 SR) was NOT visible during tax preparation, only when we printed the entire return. As we returned to the preparation pages this was not found. Only when we clicked on the upper right corner of the screen and clicked on "Forms" did we finally saw it. On this page, under Part II Other Taxes 8 box c was checked, Instructions: enter code UT 14, 892. WE DID NOT HAVE SELF-EMPLOYMENT INCOME IN 2019 CONSEQUENTLY WE CANNOT HAVE $14,892 AS TAX. Just this error reduced our total federal tax: $16,970 - $14,892 = $2,138. This page was not visible during calculations, no idea how this amount was created and entered in SCHEDULE 2. We could not change, remove the erroneous tax amount.. We will continue calculating our State Tax to determine whether anything entered there will further modify (reduce?) the $2,138.
There is some piece of information you have put into the program for it to calculate the Self-Employment tax.
Please review you entries for any 1099-Misc you have entered or any K-1 forms 1065.
You can see a list of the forms in your return by clicking on the left hand side of TurboTax, Tax Tools, Tools, Delete a form.
This will show all of the tax forms in your return.
Dear Karen: We entered the on the left side of our return ALL FORMS and could not find a K-1 1065 page or form. That means that we did not, could not, have worked with this sheet to mark the box "c" and enter the amount of $14,832. When we open this form we could not remove either the check mark or the $14,832. We opened an explanation and read that this form was already filled out and there was not need to enter anything. As we worked on our 2019 return it was NOT NECESSARY to work with this K-1 form because we did not have self employment income. We are at a dead stop, cannot do anything to correct this problem. How do we proceed from here? Your assistance is very much appreciated. Thomas Toth
Dear Karen: Further questions, thoughts. 1) We went through each and every 1099 Forms (re Misc) and found all our entries correct, matching our out tax papers and did not find any entries that would explain generation of self employment taxes by the program. 2) Is it possible that we could not remove any entries on this page because they they were not generated, entered by us? 3) Could you tell us what does UT on the line after "instructions: enter code(s) mean? 4) Is it possible that whatever UT means would be the explanation why the erroneous amount 14,832 was entered one the same line? Thank you.

Only you can initiate the transmission of your tax return -
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Sign onto your TurboTax online account and the status of the tax return will be displayed - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
can you check and see if it was transmitted
