I deployed and am active duty and had to pay 7 months on a storage unit and move into a new place once I got back can I deduct the storage unit cost and u haul expenses?

I deployed in the summer of 2020 to the middle east and didnt come back till 2021.

You can only deduct storage expenses for thirty days from the time you moved from your previous home.
