I am currently active duty mil and I used the deluxe edition to file but it still charged me despite you advertising it as free to active duty service members. Kinda bull**bleep** turbotax.

Sorry you had trouble. This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to TurboTax Support--but I will tell you how to reach them below. I don't know why it didn't give you the discount when you got ready to finish up and file. That would have been a good time to ask for help, since it's easier to correct before actually paying. I'd ask for a refund.
The offer is for free Federal and State returns for active duty military and reservists of an enlisted rank (E-1 through E-9) with a W2 from DFAS.

I'd ask TurboTax Support for a refund. Their Support hours are currently 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7days/week.

Same thing happened to me. Used the link through USAA's website to receive $20 off my self employed Turbo Tax product, but the discount wasn't applied. I called Turbo Tax to get the $20 refunded and they told me they don't provide refunds once the payment has been submitted. No more Turbo Tax for me. Don't advertise a discounted product and then not provide the discount.
