With form 8453, what if I don't have the cost basis on my 1099B?

If your Form 1099-B does not have the cost basis, you will need to include other supporting statements and/or documentation that supports your cost basis calculation used on your Tax Return. (i.e. Brokerage Statements, spreadsheets).
