I understand you don't have an answer for this problem. You have copied and pasted the same response several times now into this thread alone, and I see there at least 5 other threads on this topic.
As of today over a 1,000 people have viewed these threads. I'm sure there are many more frustrated customers out there. Since this issue will obviously not be fixed in time to meet the filing deadline, there needs to be some kind of response from management.
It isn't fair to leave your support people having to deal with a fundamental failure of development. I understand you are trying your best. I have called for additional support, and then only thing I was offered was to be linked to the technical issue.
There needs to be a better response from someone who is responsible for this issue. I feel at least some acknowledgment or even a refund is due. This is exactly the kind of issue that will cause me to search out another solution next year, this year, it is too late.
The value of TurboTax took a huge dive as I had to spend an hour entering and checking my trades manually.
Yep. I'm requesting a refund for my purchase of Premier for precisely this failure. Intuit has had months to fix this issue.
I gave up Turbotax 10 years ago, because they won't fix a simple issue at that time. and now, this is happening now. I guess Turbotax doesn't deserve a 2nd chance!

Does this problem exist if a PC is used rather than a Mac?
The issue affects TurboTax CD/Download products. There is a workaround for it posted within this thread.
When I click on the link you provided, I go to page with the below. I'm logged into TurboTax from Chrome on a Mac.
I have this bug, trying to use TurboTax on a Mac laptop. The import works on TurboTax Online, but not on the desktop software; so, below is the workaround that I used. Note, that this is only helpful if you are at or near the beginning for working on your 2021 return, because you basically have to start all over.
1. Start a new return on Turbotax online. Resist the urge to pay for anything or do any upgrades at a cost.
2. When your return is started, use the "Tax Tools" link to import last year's tax file (with a *.tax2020 extension).
3. Plow through the questionnaire until go get a chance to import your J.P.Morgan Securites documents. The Get Identification Code link works online.
4. After you've imported all your J.P.Morgan docs, use the "Tax Tools" link to save your tax return on your computer to a *.tax2021 file.
5. Open that new file from TurboTax 2021 on your desktop. No you can do all your work with the J.P. Morgan download.
