Rental Property - vacant

I had rental property that I was sold in 2018. It was vacant from January until June when it was sold. How do I report the mortgage interest ? Do I put it in the Schedule E while there was no rental income - or do I put it in the my Home section?

schedule E unless you were using it as your home during the vacancy period.
