I'm using T-tax software download this year. In past I used the online version. The software is not asking me to import my 1099s like the online version I've used. It's asking me to manually input all the data. Is that correct?? Is there a way to import 1099s?

Yes, it is correct. There is not a way to import the information from a 1099s into TurboTax. Please enter the information manually.
What? 1099-S or more than one 1099 ?
In CD/download pull down the File Menu and look for Import command.
The Desktop program can import most 1099. Should be the same as Online. What kind of 1099 do you have? I imported 1099R, 1099B, 1099INT & DIV.
When you go to a section you can either import it or enter it manually. This is mainly for online but should work the same for the Desktop program.
