I've read and tried recommendations and still can't get an import. I can find and open my .tax2022 return on my Mac. When I open the 2023 application (downloaded from Costco) and get the "begin" screen it doesn't list any of my prior years return to choose. I browse for it manually and then can't find it. I've been using turbo tax for over 10 years and have't had this happen. VERY frustrated! If I try the account recovery process it just takes me to a place where it wants me to purchase Turbo tax. I have 2 log on's and tried each one. Wondering if I should delete the 2023 application, but don't know if it will let me download again. Thank you.

See the TurboTax Help articles Troubleshoot transferring from a prior year return and Transfer last year's return to TurboTax Desktop for Windows.
Hopefully the guidance there will be helpful to you.
Nope. The only thing I didn't try was re-installing the 2022 application. Since that's the only place I can see last years return (except I do have a pdf copy) I'm afraid if I reinstall it all the data will be gone. Now to go throw up then try to get a refund from Costco.
The previous articles did not relate to Mac, this one does.
Here is an FAQ for you: How do I transfer last year's return into the 2023 TurboTax
Thanks! This worked perfectly. Don't know why I didn't see it in the first place. Maybe they should bold it or make it more obvious.
In the past though, the previous year's returns usually auto-fill in that box. Curious why this year this did not automatically auto-fill.
