TurboTax Not Working

Anybody else unable to move forward in turbotax? I just get a spinning blue wheel. Been impossible to use for several days. Very slow progress.

    Couldn't even get the program to open, called for service, after 45 minutes got "disconnected".  Second call went 95 minutes with no resolution.  That was 5 days ago, still waiting on refund.

    It is February 2021 and still getting blue spinning wheel.   Unable to solve or speak with any human to get support

    I never had issues before.   I have used TurboTax for years, and this is the first time I can not move forward.  I get stuck in the review uploading forms...  What the heck?   There is no help for this...

    Try this and see if this clears the issue for you.  Please log completely out of TurboTax.  Then, in your browser, please clear your cache and delete your cookies.  After this, close completely out of the browser.  Re-open everything including logging back into TurboTax.

    I installed a program that had been used and deleted purchase a new program and it say all 5 efile has already been used but I have used any of them what should I do?

    I purchase 2 program and I Uninstalled the first program after it was used up them I installed the second one and tried to efile and it said they had been used. What should I do.

    I can't believe I purchased and downloaded the TurboTax Deluxe 2021 trash software. I started trying to do some prep for my taxes. When entering W-2G income from gambling, the program stops responding for 10-12 seconds after I fill each and every field on the form. It is taking me about 15 minutes to successfully enter data for one W-2G. The program is very buggy and stops responding, almost like it is trying to validate each field's data and then saving the entire file after each field entry. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW!!!!!! or else this will be my last year using TurboTax. Also, there needs to be some capability to report program bugs within the program. I should not have to go to such forums as this to report an issue. At least provide a support email address!!!! Good grief!

    Same problem here, 10 minutes to enter ONE W2G!!!! Turbo Tax stops responding each time I tab to the next box.  Theres no place to report bugs. HELP!!! I have 50 W2G forms!

    Had same issue, no help from TT, just clear cache, and more badges instead of help

    Finally just entered FIN # And name of establishment, went to forms and filled in data there, this way took approximately 6 to 7 minutes.  Tried one the normal way took 17 minutes.  No one at TT was willing to say there was an issue, just forwarded it to the next person.  Got to admit, they were friendly but not much help.

    @lh9603   What is the reject message or code?  I didn't understand your post.  Try entering 0 for the AGI to efile.

    EXACTLY the same thing happening here. I've used TT for YEARS and this year (2021) seems to be the start of this problem for me.  I have about 50 W2G forms to enter (all by hand) and EACH time I skip to the next box, I am forced to wait 3-5 seconds or more.  Then TT stops responding, I have to wait for it to recover, and then I can go to the next box again.  This has caused me to give an extreme amount of time to enter all of these forms.  I'm about to ditch TT and use something else. This is terrible. HELP!

    In middle of preparing tax return:  Update TurboTax  shows in blue box with yellow border.

    No reaction when clicking blue box, or "Back", or any other button.  Cannot save or close program.

     

    Also, havent been able to install updates for a week.

    If you are using TurboTax Online, could you clear cache and delete cookies to resolve your issue. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, which program are you using, also Mac or Windows, and what specific O/S (Windows 10 or 11, or which Mac O/S)?

    That seems to be the so-called Turbo-Tax expert's answer for everything; "Clear your cache". Do they not realize that not everyone is doing their taxes with TurboTax online? I have installed on both Windows 10 and 11, and the data entry for form W2-G is painfully slow. The software is BUGGY! It's not a problem on the users end. It is a problem on the programming end. I finally, at long last, finished my taxes this year using Turbo Tax Deluxe on Windows 11 on a PC with 8 Cores and 64GB RAM. I will NEVER use TurboTax again due to their failure to address this program issue. I will not call Tech Support because my problem is resolved, by me. NO MORE TurboTax.
