Hi. None of the options that involve tabbing or scrolling worked on my laptop. Didn't try patch.  Touch pad scrolls to 09 - just off the edge of the Month box and I can select it but unfortunetly, I need to enter 12.  My external mouse scroll wheel and external trackball scroll wheel don't scroll the month numbers)   This worked today, 4/7/26: For Turbotax Deluxe efile credit card payment,  click on the Month box, type in the number, hit enter. 
I efiled it in the TTax desktop web app.

This reject happens when the IRS database  has record that you had health coverage through the marketplace.  If you did not have coverage you will have to contact Marketplace to find out what needs to be reported on your return.    Health Insurance Marketplace Statements | Internal Revenue Service   If you did have coverage and you need to report information for a Form 1095-A:   Go to the Do you have Form 1095-A info ready? screen Answer the questions and enter the details from your Form 1095-A When you’re done, select File from the left menu and continue through to re-file your return If there was no coverage, you can follow the steps below to certify that you did not receive a 1095-A:   Select Federal from the left menu, then Deductions & Credits. Navigate to Medical and select Show More. Select Start or Revisit next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A). You'll be asked if you received a 1095-A. Select No. Select the statement indicating you did not receive a 1095-A. By selecting this certification, you will be able to e-file your return and meet the requirements of reject code F8962-070. Select File from the left menu and continue through the process to resubmit your return. How do I fix e-file reject F8962-070?

I have never seen this type of thing happen with the desktop version. Can you go back and review your entire MA return clicking through the entire series of questions and then try again. You could also delete the state and start just the MA return over. If neither of those things work, can you send up a screenshot of the messages/errors you are receiving?

You probably clicked on Amend to get back into your return.  You should click on Add a State (you won't actually be adding a state) to let you back in.

On a Computer (Browser) The "Sign Out" button is usually located at the very bottom of the left-hand navigation bar (the black sidebar).  You may need to scroll down within that sidebar itself to see it.  It often says "Sign Out" or "Save and Sign Out." 2. On a Mobile Device (App or Browser) Tap the "Menu" icon (the three horizontal lines or "hamburger" menu) in the upper left corner.  Scroll to the very bottom of that menu. Tap Sign Out.
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I am not using the web version - I am using the downloaded version. Resetting the browser has non effect since I am not using a browser.

I was just disconnected by a supervisor while discussing RMA IEPUS1772726343974. I have screenshots of the chat. Do not transfer me or 'research.' I need a Case Number for a formal Billing Dispute. TPG deducted $200 from my refund, and TurboTax is incorrectly showing it as 'waived.' I need a Manual Override now or I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Texas Attorney General this afternoon.

Form 1040X is used to amend or correct a return that was already filed.  If you have not filed a return yet and you are not looking to amend your return, then you should just delete the form.  To do this:   Here are the steps to delete your Form 1099-X:   Open your return. Go to Tax Home Select Tax Tools in the left menu Click on Tools A pop-up will come out called Tool Center Select Delete a form Select Delete next to the Form 1099-X that you want to delete If you are using TurboTax Online, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help article to delete a form.   If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please follow the instructions in this TurboTax Help article to delete a form.

It depends on the type of disability because there are different procedures for each type of disability.   VA Disability Compensation: If your 100% disability pay comes from the VA, it is already tax-free at the federal level. Because it isn't included in your Federal Adjusted Gross Income (AGI), you do not enter it on your Virginia return. Taxable Disability Pension: If you receive a taxable disability retirement pension (from an employer or the military), you can subtract up to $20,000.  If you are a veteran with a 100% disability rating, you might also be receiving military retirement pay. Virginia recently increased the subtraction for military retirement. For Tax Year 2025: You can subtract up to $40,000 of military retirement pay. Here is how to enter the last two steps I just mentioned into your Virginia State return.   1. Military Retirement Subtraction (Up to $40,000) Even if you entered your 1099-R in the Federal section, TurboTax won't automatically apply the Virginia military subtraction because it doesn't know if you meet the specific VA criteria.   Where to go: In the State tab, proceed through the Virginia interview.  The Screen: Look for a page titled "Here's the income that Virginia handles differently." The Action: Find the Military section and click Start. You will see an option for Military Benefits Subtraction. The Result: You must manually confirm the amount of your pension. For tax year 2025, TurboTax will apply Code 60 on your Schedule ADJ to subtract up to $40,000.   2. Disability Income Subtraction (Up to $20,000) This applies only if you have taxable disability income (like a private disability pension) that was reported as "Wages" on your Federal return.   Where to go: Inside the Virginia state interview, look for "Subtractions from Income." Select Disability Income reported as Wages. Important: TurboTax will ask if you want to take this or the Age Deduction. It generally chooses the higher one for you. Let us know if this is specific enough for you to complete your return.      
I became a non-resident of Canada and need TurboTax expert's help. Chat with Agent option mentions "Agent will join the session within 5 minutes" and they never end up joining.
