Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about your payment.   If you want to check the debit date you specified, look on the filing instructions for your return.  It will tell you the debit date the IRS or State will deduct the payment.  If you did not print them out you can view them using the following steps:    If you filed using TurboTax Online, the Electronic Filing Instructions page will give that info.   Here's how to view the PDF copy: Sign in to TurboTax and open your return. On the Tax Home screen, scroll to Your tax returns & documents and select Add a State (don't worry, you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area) to access your tax forms and worksheets. In the menu, select Tax Tools, then Print Center. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year’s return. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2025 Federal return and Include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions, for your 2025 Federal Tax Return, next to Balance Due/Refund. TurboTax CD/Download  Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar.   In the Forms in My Return list on the left, click Filing Inst.  [It's usually toward the bottom of the list.]  The form will appear on the right side of the screen. You can view the form on the screen or you can print a copy by clicking the Print box at the bottom of the screen. To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar. The IRS/States is currently processing a high volume of e-filed returns, so it can take several days for your payments to go through.  The IRS/States may debit the payment after the deadline. Also, it can take the banks another few days to post the debit to your account. As long as you filed you return or extension on or before April 15, 2026, and you selected April 15, 2026, or earlier as your payment date, you won't get penalized for late payment. If you don't see the debit in your bank account 7–10 days after their return has been accepted,  call the IRS e-file Payment Services at 888-353-4537 or contact your state tax agency.   How do I contact my state Department of Revenue?

File the state return by mail with the payment. They may be satisfied with that and if not they may ask you to amend, but the tax payment will be made with little to no late payment fee.   File the federal by e-file and don't be concerned about the state in this process. It's likely to reject since one may have already been accepted. If it does go through then you can still send the paper file with the payment and mark it duplicate.   @CRS1985
I DIDNT MAKE anything no job or anything do i need to mail something in still or file for extention if so?

You can change the email address associated with your account through your account settings.   Intuit uses a single sign in system for all Intuit products, so changing it here will also update it for any other Intuit products you use, such as QuickBooks or Credit Karma.   To Change Your Email Address: Select Intuit Account located in the lower-left corner of your screen (near the Sign Out button). On the Account Manager page, select the Sign in & security menu. Select the Email address section. Enter your new email address and then enter it again to confirm. Enter your current password when prompted to verify the change. Select Save. Check your new email inbox for a verification link from Intuit and click it to finalize the update. If you can't sign in at all, you can go to the Intuit Account Recovery page. This requires you to upload a photo of a government-issued ID to verify your identity.

I didn't work. No one seems to know what to do. I bought and paid for these previous years and I have ZERO access to them. Why would any program force someone to upgrade to Windows11 to install a new program without have a fix in the system to access ALL the previous years tax programs. It's just STUPID!!!!! There needs to be something that can be done to correct this issue. I can't be the only one having these issues and I refuse to be locked out of my previous tax years programs. I paid for them, I want access to them.

Thanks for posting.. Intuit just sucks when it comes to bug fixes. Hopefully, you can use the fix I wrote about. I learned of it from the CPA my wife uses for her taxes.

@Adamlfc, I totally understand your frustration. I have documented your feedback on the need for a currency code field and an integrated exchange rate table, and I have forwarded it directly to our product development team. As a CA, you understand that the CRA is not quick to change, but your suggestion of a simple "warning flag" in the software could be a solution. I passed along your feedback and a suggestion to the development team to push for a simple check if possible. We appreciate the time and feedback.

Yes, if you filed jointly last year, you and your spouse's AGI are the same amount.  If you Amended your return and it has been fully processed, that AGI for both of you should work.  It it hasn't been fully processed, the AGI on your original return (same for both of you) should work.  In some cases, zero does work.   @DIYTtax4years

Error is still occurring even after update on Thursday April 16th .  We've paid for the software and expect it to work - this should be a simple fix for a missing form - if I have to mail it I will expect Intuit to pay for the mailing fees and related expenses.   I urge that this be treated with high priority
