Can someone explain how to file my state taxes
I can't enter the date paid off as it's after 12/31/2025

I couldn't reproduce the issue. However the old file could not be read as "corrupted" when I saved it before restarting TurboTax to complete an update. Every year there's some update, and any work I completed in March is lost.   Anyways, I'll see if the saved files can still be opened after restarting my computer. Since I saved every step along the way, maybe I'll be able to tell what portion of it was the issue. But either way, there is nothing I changed compared to when I saved my work earlier tonight (well except grouping my capital gains). Next time it asks me to update, I'll see if I can refuse the update and save my work as a PDF (for my records). Then hopefully, when the TurboTax file is inevitably shown to be corrupted upon opening it again, I can at least open it from a PDF...
Why does Turbotax give me a result that I had Roth excess contributions of 6000, I only did contribution limit of 7000 for 2025. How did the Turbotax calculate the contribution is excess?

I want get my return taxes
You rely on TurboTax to calculate your tax. IRS relies on IRS computers to calculate your tax. If TurboTax result is different, you will b hearing from IRS.   @ABRADY7

I had already tried starting my return from scratch, not using any previous returns' info, and still ended up in the same situation.   I did some debugging today, however, and found that the issue appears to be with the W-2 OCR import feature. Basically, if I'm filling out a return by: starting a new return from scratch filling in all my personal details importing a W-2 electronically (from ADP) typing in W-2 information manually uploading a W-2 as a PDF to be read by TurboTax through OCR continuing to enter my financial information At every step in the process until step 6, the File menu and further dialogs work fine. However, once I pass step 6 and have a PDF attached to my return, the File menu crashes the app, and so does triggering certain dialogs.   I'm not sure if it's my specific W-2 PDF (which I downloaded from ADP) or all W-2s, but there's definitely a bug in TurboTax around W-2 upload or file attachment. I've verified that the location of the PDF does not matter; attaching it from anywhere leads to the app being "poisoned" as described.

I have investment account reporting foreign taxes paid to multiple countries and I am supposed to report each country in each form 1116. Turbotax allows reporting only one country for each investment account and doesn't present the account again to be selected to report the next country taxes. Looks like a glitch in the software. Spent over an hour and can't seem to find a way.
On your W-2, box 14?   Probably (tips or  overtime), but only your employer can confirm.     Do you need to enter overtime?   How do I enter my overtime pay in TurboTax?

I really frustrating to navigate and check box as "N" for each entry in the capital asset worksheet. There are close to 500+ entries and each one we need to manually select "Y" or "No" for "Is a digital asset". Not sure who designed this page and did they perform any validation on usage. During download itself they should have asked response to this question instead of doing this at "Federal Review". If not, at the time of importing itself the tool should ask this question instead of at the end.  Really, question about the design and architecture of this tool!  The worst of all is there two scroll bar and we need to scroll both to see what are the entries that requires update.  The ugliest part of the above is it allows to update only 4 at a time.  What a waster of time and hurting hands? One of the worst ever tool that I ever saw in the 40+ years!
I've just been rejected by IRS with the same situation. I have 2 W-2s with different Employer Identification Number and the Exceed amount is $305. I just wonder how you solve this problem.   Thanks,
Do you need to enter Schedule H info, @user17760553010 ?       Do I need to file IRS Schedule H?   Additional Tax Payments can be found in Other Tax Situations.
