Did you receive a rejection letter? In most cases, these include a rejection code that helps determine what needs to be fixed.
Otherwise, check this tax year 2025 post for possible fixes to Form 5695: Fed and State filing rejected due to form 5695
The best option is to review all your answers to the interview questions for the Residential Energy Credit (if you're logged into TurboTax Online, use this link to Go To Form 5695).

In response to question, I entered as NO. I live in USA. That was a news to me. If you are a US Citizen and live in another country, you don't have to pay tax on social Security? Are you sure? https://thefinancebuff.com/social-security-taxable-calculator.html This gives a needed help to understand the SSI tax after talking into account the Standard Deduction + 12000 Senior (recent bill passed which will be valid till 2028). It also takes into account the Capital Gains income + Interest income from investments. This is were TurboTax did not do a good job.

Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.
TurboTax Desktop/Download Versions:

I filed my taxes again with you this year. My initial return was rejected due to an SSN error but I had already submitted my payment info at the point of submit. When I received the rejection text, I refiled after correcting and clicked the payment link. The page redirected to the irs page, once there I saw the suggestion to earn points using my cc so decided to pay with that method. Six days later, I receive a notice from my bank that I had a large payment go to the irs from my bank account i- the initial payment from the rejected return!!! I called the irs and spun forn45 mins accomplishing nothing. Called TT and the agent was helpful but agreed this is a glitch that shouldn’t happen. He refunded my $300, but what about the $15k I have to now ‘wait for the IRS realize I double paid and I’ll get a refund in 4-6 weeks’ !!! What the actual F is my question TurboTax? How did you reject my return, have me fix it but never reject the original payment or even indicate I had a pending payment? Further to that, how can I go to my Home Screen now and STILL make another payment once two have been made?? Own the errors in your software and have a fund set up to help clients get made whole after your negligence and crap programming! Please respond with something other than I’m sorry we will look into it.

Be sure you allowed TurboTax Desktop to update, including the California state module, as California Form 568 in all versions of TurboTax is ready for filing by mail (TurboTax Online updates automatically). Also, the current PDF of Form 568 available from the California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) is not marked and can be printed for mailing.
However, CA LLCs are required to e-file this document in most cases, although there are exceptions. If the box at the bottom of Form 568 is checked, you will need to print, sign, and mail the form. You'll also need to get a waiver from the e-filing requirement: California business entity e-file waiver request.
If this is the first year to file Form 568 for your SMLLC, be sure to check the box on Form 568 Line H for "Initial Return" and the box under Line 2 for "First Year Exemption Smart Worksheet." These answers will exempt you from the franchise tax this year.
You can read more about filing Form 568 here:

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS/State releases your refund.
The IRS states that most federal tax refunds are issued within 21 days of acceptance, however, some may take longer if they require additional review. Also, by law, the IRS cannot issue EITC or ACTC refunds before mid-February. This applies to your entire refund, not just the portion related to those specific credits.
Here are a few FAQs to help you track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

There seems to be many difficult issues using TurboTax for Business, whether it is the desktop version or the online version. Let me describe the situation: many corporations in NJ are S-corp for federal purposes ND C-Type for NJ purposes. On Turbotax for Business desktop (Windows), in 2025, when one completes the Federal income tax S-Corp. the only choice for NJ corporation is New Jersey S-Corp. One cannot get the New Jersey C-Corp program as a choice. But the New Jersey C-Corp business turbotax does exist. I had to get TurboTx technical support to bypass the screens on the desktop and helped my download and install the NJ C-COrp program. I note that this situation did not occur in 12023 nor 2024. It seems like a new issue. I tried to use TurboTax for business on the Web. One can use it an only pay when filing. The Federal S-COrp par went well--just like the desktop version except it is harder to find esoteric tax credits on the Web version. However, when it came to trying to gain access to New Jersey C-Corp program on the web, it was impossible: the only choice was NJ S-Corp. I do not know if there is a workaround as there was with the desktop version. TurboTx help told me that the web version will only allow for NJ: C-Corp Federal--NJ C-Corp or S-Corp Federal, NJ S-Corp. I do not know why this is a problem, The NJ forms for S-Corp and C-COrp are almost identical. These problems are not disclosed on the desktop before you purchase; on the Web version you are not paying until it files so you do not lose money but you do lose time.

You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment
If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted by the taxing agency, you should follow these guidelines.
You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.
You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.
Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.
The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due
Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected.
You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment
