@user17762690865    A few other people had this issue too.   Their solution was that the two letter code "NC" had to be entered in box 15 of that particular 1099-R form. Go back and edit that 1099-R to make sure NC is in box 15 on that form.....and that you did select Bailey Settlement on the follow-up page.

 I would like to see a diagnostic file of your return that will show me only numbers and not any of your personal information. Send this to us immediately so we can resolve this for you.   TurboTax Online Sign in to your TurboTax account and make sure you have your return open. In the left-hand sidebar, click on Tax Tools. In the dropdown that appears, select Tools. In the center pop-up window, click the link that says Share my file with agent. A message will appear explaining that a sanitized copy is being sent. Click OK. Record the Token Number: A 6-digit number will appear. Provide this number to me in this post.   TurboTax Desktop (Windows) Open your tax return in the TurboTax program. Look at the black menu bar at the very top of your computer screen (not the internal program tabs). Click on the Online menu. Select Send Tax File to Agent. Click OK on the confirmation screen. Record the Token Number: Write down the number (including the dash, e.g., 123-456) and send that to me in a reply. TurboTax Desktop (Mac) Open your tax return in the TurboTax program. Go to the Help menu in the Mac menu bar at the top of your screen. Select Send Tax File to Agent. Click OK to generate the sanitized file. Record the Token Number: Provide the resulting 6-digit number to the agent. Note: These tokens typically expire after a short period (usually 24–48 hours), so make sure to give the number to the agent as soon as you generate it.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:   Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu. Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website. Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms. Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit." Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.   Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

Alternatively, check your filed tax return copy (or 'Filing Instructions' page) or review your personal bank statement for the ACH withdrawal. IRS Online Account: View your payment history to see which bank account was used. Tax Return Copy: Look at the 'Filing Instructions' or Federal Information Worksheet (Part V) in your tax software or paper return for direct debit details.

It would depend on why the income is not taxable in New Jersey. You can edit your New Jersey program and on the screen that says You've finished your New Jersey Return, see the Adjustments and Taxes and Credits section to find various deductions and credits for your state taxes.
@markrav4    They should send an explanation withing 10-14 days.   Any chance you paid Quarterly Estimated taxes to the IRS for 2025 and forgot to enter those payments?  ($12,200 total)  
Did you try using the calculations that @BillM223 references above?  Those are pretty complicated but they do seem to be a good way to find the amount TurboTax is calculating.   @64dancer

If what you originally entered is correct, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, a dependent that's already been claimed, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return. This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.    Additional reject instruction here.

Appreciate the response. Ran out of time, so ended up purchasing another license for TurboTax Deluxe (With State). Was able to 're-transmit' the e-file for the correct tax-return after switching product-activation-code.
You would have to download the tax file for the form to be moved from 2024 to 2025.
