As your first return is applying the refund to next year, that creates an issue as it will get processed stand alone and apply refund to 2026 so you will have to pay the taxes due on the amended return by 4/15.As to amending a previously uploaded 1099. I would manually update it if possible to avoid any issues if you previously uploaded directly. Otherwise, you must manually delete the old first than import the new. Yes, the amendment process will also produce an amended state return. You should be able to e-file the amended return as long as your under your 5 return e-file limit.
Remove Old 1099: In the income section, locate the incorrect 1099 form, select "Delete" or "Edit," and remove the incorrect data.
Add Revised 1099: upload the corrected 1099 information (1099-NEC, 1099-B, 1099-DIV, etc.).
