No (imo) - these refund gimmicks are not worth the cost or hassle inserting 3rd parties between you and the IRS.   Keep it simple - file normally, check the fee breakdown before your pay, pay fees upfront, and IRS will send your refund when they send it.   note it's "up to 5 days early" so it could just end up being 1 day early and it depends on when IRS sends information.   please avoid "Pay with My Refund" this costs $40 and routes your return through a 3rd party bank.   read all the smallprint here   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund-advance/turbotaxs-five-days-early-refund-delivery-options/L9U8ngZlH_US_en_US   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund-advance/difference-5-days-early-refund-advance/L44eOlu6T_US_en_US   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/remove-pay-refund-fees-turbotax-online-change/L7UxC6ZZp_US_en_US   How to check/reduce fees: https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/review-fees-turbotax-online/L1XnIzgzg_US_en_US   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/reduce-fees/L3Kp3yEYs_US_en_US

Thank you @MarilynG1, I will try what you suggested.  I did not enter Property Taxes when I entered my Mortgage Interest from Form 1098 (I pay property taxes separately from my mortgage).  And the deduction the software is taking for SALT is more than double my property taxes (it's taking the maximum $40k for some reason when my property taxes are only around $13k).  In any case, I'll try to re-enter the property taxes after clearing cache/cookies and re-opening Turbo Tax.  Thanks again for your help.
In this section, you will report the gross amount of the annual distribution in US Dollars (USD) of your pension.
@lucsa3d Your screenshot only showed one item - TurboTax Online State $25 What is the other item that equals $675?

If you're using TurboTax Online, go back to the Deductions Topics page and choose either Add/Edit/Review next to Medical Expenses.  If you're not able to enter your Medical Expenses (first page is prescription expenses), you can Delete the Medical Expenses Worksheet from your return.    Close TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies, reopen the program and you should then be able to enter your Medical Expenses.   @user17724317262

Thank you and I'm sorry for your loss as well. I should have started with that, I'm sorry for not doing that. I appreciate you responding so quickly. I have to admit, I was hoping for a different answer. lol. I'm sure to pay on it then because when my mom passed on 4/7, I will admit it took me awhile to get my mind ready to handle her estate as it was just me to do everything and I didn't want to do any of it at the time. I didn't even notice SS had a deadline for filling out the form they sent. I couldn't even think about any of that "5 days due after receiving the letter," which was a few days received after she had passed. By the time I was ready to handle things, I noticed the deadline date, I went ahead and sent it in on 6/30/25. I wasn't even sure they would honor her last paycheck, but they did, and I received a direct deposit on 8/30/25.   I had asked ChatGPT if I had to pay on it and where to add it before I saw your question. I know sometimes ChatGPT can be wrong. It did say I may or many not have to pay on it.  SS is only partially taxable depending on my total income and that Turbo Tax will calculate this automatically based on my total income. It did say to enter it in Box 5 (Net Benefits). So, I guess I will see when I start my taxes.   I tried filing her last returns last night with a different software that she used (not Turbo Tax). Federal allowed me to mark her as deceased and the date but when it went into State, it did not have that option for me to mark her deceased, so I stopped until I can find out where to mark it and if I even need to file, as with her passing in April, she falls under the "amount" listed making you file taxes.   Anyway, thank you again for trying to remember what you did a few years ago and letting me know so quickly! Much appreciated!

@Moore1434 Do you mean you did not work for an employer that should have issued a W-2 to you?    Or do you mean that you should have a W-2 but cannot find it/did not receive it from the employer?

TurboTax doesn't offer an option for claiming the expense without a QMID number, so not sure how to enter.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    The IRS Where's My Refund site will not take into account the 5 days early, but if you signed up for the 5 Day Early product, you should receive your refund deposited 5 days prior to the date indicated by the IRS, assuming all conditions are met.   For more information click on the link below 5 Days Early Option   If you don't get your deposit 5 days early, there is a few reasons why that might happen.   Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum. What is a refund offset? Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund. The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the 5 days early expectations. If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee. You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.
Yes, you will have to purchase an additional Online TurboTax to prepare your granddaughter's return.  The Online version is only good for one person.  The Desktop can do 5.
