@info You're probably asking your question in the wrong place.   This is mainly a TurboTax user community, and you are not likely to get much info on QuickBooks options here.    However, from a very quick look there I believe QuickBooks Online does have an option for Live Expert Assisted as well as  QuickBooks Expert Full Service Bookkeeping.   I don't know if that's what you are referring to or not.  If so, you need to check those out on the QuickBooks website.     QuickBooks should have a customer support phone number on their website as well as a sales phone number to use for product information.
Take a look at the following TurboTax help article for further information and advice in your situation:   What if I don't have my W-2 by February?   @roberttomlinson317

Go back to My Info on the left side of the online program screen. Edit the dependent and carefully check your answers to the questions. Note - A child born in 2025 is deemed to have lived in your home for the entire year. Make sure you select them as your Child, that you selected that they lived in your home for the Whole Year, temporary absence for education is deemed living in your home. That they did NOT provide over one-half of their own support (You Did), that you indicated there was no one else in the household providing support to them, and that you did NOT check the box labeled Not valid for employment in the Social Security number section.   If all your answers are correct then delete them as a dependent and re-enter.

Thank you. After weeks of doing as deep of a dive was possible on the matter,  I believe this in fact the best way to go. It does make me a bit uneasy to not have that 1099-misc "on the record" but I don't know how computer checks and balances go at the IRS so hopefully the actually total income matching is what matters? I will also note I called Turbo Tax on this issue, and they originally said to put it under other income as a negative number, and then when I said that  made no sense they changed it to putting it in as a positive number. I do hope they not only get a better work around (you actually have to answer questions falsely to do this, such as suing a line that asks you to enter the other scholarship if you did not get any forms) and more informed people to help out (I have called more than once, and the answers here in the community on this matter are contradictory/incomplete in many cases). Having said that I am glad I found two people here that gave this answer as it makes the most sense. Thank you.

As you have already filed, please wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you may correct it by adding your overtime deduction and resubmit. If it is accepted, you need to file an amended return.   If you are expecting a refund, we recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund.   To amend your tax return, please read this TurboTax article.    Please note that the amendment form 1040X will only be available in TurboTax after 3/4/2026.
