Greetings!   Posting here as I did not find a place to send feedback to Turbotax/Intuit (having already filed my 2025 return). Turbotax, under federal deductions, personal property taxes, in the "learn more" pop-up, directs not to include property tax.  This is incorrect for 2025 tax year and needs an update.  Proved costly for me, I will have to file an amended return was my 2025 has been accepted and processed by IRS and my state.  Hope Intuit updates turbotax.  In the meantime, you can ignore this and include and input your property taxes, and other itemized deductions, to ensure you file with the deductions appropriate in your situation (standard or itemized).
I need to prove that I am who I say I am

DaveF1006....THANK YOU, THANK YOU!    This work around you suggested to fix this FLAW in 2025 TT Premier Download to allow for taking the Foreign Tax Credit WITHOUT Form 1116, if all the IRS criteria are met to NOT include Form 1116,......wait for it......wait for it......ACTUALLY WORKED, YAY!!!    So, I saved the hassle of doing the incredibly STUPID work-around that TT Support suggested yesterday (2/25/2026, outlined elsewhere in this string) to downgrade to TT Deluxe.   AND, the greatest part, you saved me 2 1/2 days of re-entering all my 2025 tax data into Deluxe. The TT Premier FLAW seems to be in the questions asked, or NOT asked, in the Step-by-Step process.   THANKS AGAIN, YOU ART A TURBO TAX GENIUS!  I'd give you 50 thumbs up if I could!!

I feel your Santa Barbara Tax people is a SCAM  I can't even contact them they keep hanging up on me. I was duped into using your SBTPG . I tried to correct the entry that authorized them to process my refund for a FEE of #123.00 This company is a SCAM and I want my $123.00 returned. I have used Turbo tax for many years but if I'm going to get cheated I will go else where to process my income tax. William H [email address removed]
Where is it asking for 2024 W2?  Are you doing a 2024 tax return?  Online is only for 2025 now.  To do a 2024 return you need to buy the Desktop program.

Do I print out the relevant changed pages from the pdf records of only my filed return or the more complete full records copy? (I am amending foreign dividend income and there is much more detailed information on the 1116 worksheet than appears on the simple 1116 table.)

Trying Thursday on Mac.  Updated Local Area Network access for TT 2025 to allow.  Note that this is in Settings > Privacy and Security.  Updated Safari to allow popups and disabled content blockers.  While the import states that it ran successfully, it didn't pull any data.  I also checked the CSVs and XML files that were out on Schwab and they appear to be complete.   Leaning towards changing the default browser (currently Safari) to see if that yields more success.

TurboTax does not receive any kind of tax refund, federal or state.   What is the status of the 2024 federal tax refund - https://www.irs.gov/refunds   Did you request to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund?   If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return. For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/ Tax Products Group Contact Information - https://help.sbtpg.com/hc/en-us/articles/230084587-Contact-Information Call 1-877-908-7228 Or email - TPG-CSsupport@greendotcorp.com

@michaelbarry06  Very briefly, it appears that you did in fact request a return of the excess contribution.  What is needed now is to clear up the 2024 return first so we can know how to go forward with 2025. 1. On your 2024 return, do you have a penalty on form 5329? 2. When did you request the return of excess (before or After April 15, 2025)? 3. Did the return of excess contain any interest or earnings?  Was that interest or earnings reported as taxable income on your 2024 return?

Exactly! Didn't they get sued for charging fees they didn't live up to recently. My refund should not come with that $35 dollars missing. I was supposed to just pay 139 + the 35, if you check your TT documents, they charged another $40 for nothing, but you don't see that in the payment when paying. I did not do any add ins, yes they are just taking money.

If you submitted them electronically then there is no issue.  They were submitted into the 2025 year with the correct data - they just had an error for printing.     If you mailed the forms in there may be an issue.  In which case, you can either contact the Social Security Administration and make sure that they applied the submitted W2s to the correct year (here is how to contact the SSA) or you can re-print the W2s/W3 and re-submit them for 2025.  If there is a conflict at the SSA because of the double submission you will receive a letter that will request more information.

My Schwab forms are posted online. I attempted to import them and followed the required process, agreeing to the data sharing agreement. All was fine until I went back to TT where I saw both forms (DIV and INT) listed with no data present. I tried again--same result. Is this something specific to Schwab?
