It may be due to the way the description is written. Try entering a description similar to the example to see if that clears the message.   If you are still receiving the message, try deleting the entry and starting over:    Go to Tax Tools, Tools, then Delete a Form and remove any "Form 1099-B" or "Worksheet" that is causing the loop.   If the import keeps asking for a token you don't have, select "I'll type it in myself" and enter the summary totals from your Form 1099-B instead.

TurboTax 2025 has discontinued its former ItsDeductible tool. It is not being replaced.   A new, forthcoming feature is being designed to help users determine the fair market value of donated items. The new feature may be released by sometime in March. Users can file in the meantime.   There are a number of alternative commercial products available online. Some charities offer their own.   For examples see the links below for a guide to assist. Salvation Army Donation Value Guide Valuation Guide for Goodwill Donors @JFMcCune

I am trying to use TurboTax Premier via a Desktop download in Windows 11. Each time I load my TT program, a message entitled, Unexpected Error (no error number shown), followed by, "System.Runtime.Serialization... ."pops up. When I click OK the message goes away after a few seconds, and the program seems to open OK. However, while doing my taxes, just prior to the review section, when I responded to the TurboTax screen which said (paraphrasing), ...before we do a review let's check for updates... . At that point the Unexpected error msg popped up again, but everything froze, as in nothing works. I cannot move forward or back. I only hear a soft beep when I try to click on anything. I can use Task Manager to get out of TT and go back and start over again, but once back inside TT I get the same "Frozen" result each time. I am stuck and need help to resolve this error problem.

As a retired employee, your retirement income is generally reported on Form 1099-R, not a Form W-2.    If you haven't received your Form 1099-R, you should contact your plan administrator or the federal agency’s payroll office to request a copy.    You may also obtain the information from your IRS Wage and Income Transcript if it's available there. Always verify the amounts carefully before filing

Where you enter the sale depends on what kind of real estate you sold. Was it your primary home? a second home or vacation home? a rental property? other investment property? bare land? a farm? etc. etc.? Did you personally own the real estate, and were you the only owner?
Can you please clarify what state you are working on?
