Currently, TurboTax supports the manual entry of IRS Form 1099-DA. We are in the process of enhancing our CSV import and upload features to make this process more seamless. Timeline: We expect the new CSV import functionality to be available soon. Please note that this is an estimated target as we finalize the experience.
Supported Documents: Once live, the import/upload feature will support both 1099-DA and DigitalAssetGainLoss files.
If you are ready to file now, you can still enter your information manually. Otherwise, thank you for your patience while we get these automated tools ready for you!

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.
What do I do when my data isn't imported into TurboTax Desktop even though it says successful import in my browser?
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:
Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

You can enter your K-1 manually if you have a copy. The amounts will still go where they need to go in your return.

None of the other tax software packages have anything like ItsDeductible; they're all missing the ability to directly import a list of donated items from another program or file. There are third-party developers who do, however, offer functionality similar to ItsDeductible but without the import capability. Hopefully, the tax prep software developers will incorporate import functionality into their products. TurboTax, ostensibly, is planning to support CSV file import for donated items in a future release.

@Karis_F @mauel _____________________ Yeah..it IS a strange NC software bug.. NC part-year W-2 Allocation of $$ I think I have a workaround...maybe not perfect but it "seems" to work. I noticed the same problem this user experienced. My system: Windows 11, Desktop Premier with NC, all updates to date installed. (Don't know if the Online shas the same problem) _____________________________ I created a file for a part-year NC resident, who moved from TX to NC on 1 June 2025. Same employer Before & After the move. $100,000 of total W-2 income. $40,000 in TX and $60,000 after moving to NC but no NC line on the W-2 itself. (Texas....because I didn't want TTX pestering met to download another state beyond the NC I already have. ___________________ During the W-2 allocation of $$ in the NC part-year tax return, if you set the NC-PY allocation to $60,000 in the first line of the allocation table...it stays ONLY until you go thru the error checks and review...until just at the point you step to the Audit Risk page. Where the PY $$ reset to $100,000 in the NC tax return and screw up the PY allocations. __________________ _______________________ Also...if I copy the issuer into the second line for the remaining $40,000 and designate it as Not-NC income......it also doesn't keep the top-line at $60,000 thru the Audit Risk step, and messes up the NC-PY calculations. _____________________ ______________________ IF, instead I, indicate the second line as the $60,000 NC-PY income, and set the first line to $40,000 as Not-NC...then it "kind-of" works. At the Audit Risk step, the first line for Not-NC income changes to $100,000 again, but it doesn't seem to adversely affect the NC-PY. calculations...(but I can't know if it changes during the actual filing....and I don't want to try that and get charged $25) __________________________________________ _____________________ __________________ Here's a Diagnostic file for the NC-PY set up Correctly in the first allocation line as $60k and PY-NC, but the file is not yet continued thru the error checks, reviews, and not at the Audit Risk step where the calc suddenly changes.

When the Code says that this "may be treated as a payment of state taxes for purposes of the deduction for tax under section 164", it means that the amount not allowed as a deduction to the federal return can be used as a "credit" to the state return, to be applied against state tax. It does not mean an additional "payment", i.e., cash that you send to the state.
This paragraph just means that when a deduction on the federal return is disallowed because the same item is being used for a credit on a state return, that this amount cannot be used as a deduction on the federal return, but is not disallowed to be used as a credit or "payment" against state tax.
So remove this adjustment "to your total tax payments on Line 18d of the Federal Tax Payments Worksheet", and both your federal return and your state return will be correct (on this issue anyway).

A driver's license is not required to file your Federal return. On the page where you enter your license info, you should see an option 'I don't have this' to check.

TurboTax for Mac stores activation data in a specific preference folder that can become "read-only" or corrupted, preventing it from remembering your previous success.
Quit TurboTax.
Open Finder, click Go in the top menu bar, hold the Option key, and select Library.
Navigate to Containers and look for com.intuit.TurboTax.2024 (or 2025/2026).
Move that entire folder to the Trash.
Navigate to Group Containers and delete anything starting with G56...com.intuit.TurboTax.
Restart your Mac and try activating one last time. This "resets" the local handshake.
4. Regarding your "3 Licenses Used"
Don't panic about the count yet. Intuit’s system is designed to allow up to 5 "installs."
The Safety Net: If you hit 5 and get locked out, you do not have to buy it again. Call Intuit Support and tell them you have the "Activation Loop Bug on Mac." They have a specific script for this and will provide a "replacement" code or reset your counter. Mention that you've already burned 3 activations on one machine so they can document the technical failure.
The "Last Resort" Workaround
If you just need to get your taxes done today and the loop won't stop: Launch the app and do NOT close it. Keep it minimized. As long as the process stays active in your RAM, it won't re-check the license until the next launch.
