Hear this Intuit TurboTax. If my refund is even 1 penny short because of these clowns you have partnered with it will be the very last time I use your services for anything. It's bad enough that they are holding it for a week. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I am sure H&R Block would be better that being defrauded in this manner.

@Yago-NJ This is a personal opinion. If it were me I would use the dates provided in the TurboTax program and enter the actual amount that was paid in that month.
When you use dates that are outside the quarter end date being paid, it will cause issues. The dates for estimated tax payments are hard coded in the software for the state program. Based on the information received from the NJ Division of Taxation.

Since you are not the first, let's go through the steps you must take.
Step 1: text or email to spouse asking for their w2 info. Keep a screenshot as proof of their lack of compliance. You have shown good faith effort.
Step 2: consider filing form 8857 - request for innocent spouse relief so that you are taxed solely on your income. See What's an innocent spouse and how does it differ from an injured spouse?
Step 3: file a paper return using your income if you are filing innocent spouse (if not, you can try to estimate their income or just file based on yours) and attach a statement of disclosure.
Explain you are a resident of a community property state
Spouse has refused to provide income documentation
State that you are reporting your income to the best of your ability.

Are you seeing "ready to mail" in your online TurboTax account? If you are seeing that in your TT account it means you did not e-file your tax return. Did you choose to file by mail? If you chose to file by mail, you have to mail it yourself; TurboTax does not mail it for you. Or do you need to switch to e-file?
To change to e-filing:

Thanks TG..... That cleared up the problem. It would have been nice if TurboTax posted that information that Georgia was not accepting business tax returns. Having used TurboTax for all these years (from the 80's with floppy disks) there were times where you would have a problem with your data. The tax form would print ok but you would have problems transmitting the return electronicky. For many years I skipped e-filling because it was easer to print and mail the return rather than chase down the entry error. Usually it was an extra space or an item that was zero was left blank. Again Thanks

I am having problems with form 5695 also. I installed solar panels and all the supporting hardware (top part of the form) AND I installed a heat pump water heater (bottom part of the form). Turbo Tax is not giving me credit for the heat pump water heater - The 5695 Form is flagged with a red exclamation point; and is labeled as "(Not Done). When I scroll through the form - line 21a and 21b are not marked at Yes or No (even though I answered questions to indicate yes) AND line 21c has my correct address listed, but it is highlighted in red on pink background. Finally, line 29g is filled out with a number (1,988) - BUT - line 29h is blank (when it should be filled in with a basic calculation - 1,988 X 0.3 = 596. Since line 29h is blank, line 30 is also blank (it should be 596). HELP - This issue/error would cost me $596 - as this is a tax credit. Note: I've tried deleting the form entirely (and completing all the interview questions in the deductions and credit section) - Three times already.

DID YOU E-FILE?
Did you e-file? Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted or rejected your federal e-file. If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.
Check your e-file status:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
What does it say in your account? Does it show that the return was accepted? Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”

I looked at the link you provided. I cannot explain why the NJ estimated-tax-payment site defaulted to 17 June 2025 and 16 September 2025, but it did. The printed receipt I received when I authorized automatic bank withdrawal on those dates states clearly that the due dates are 17 June 2025 and 16 September 2025 respectively. Since I paid the tax on those days through the official NJ site, I want to have my filing reflect this information. I need help to be able to achieve this.

I’m going to start by trying to ask a general question, and then I’ll give details on why I’m am asking: Q: If all transactions in the 1099-B “Proceeds from Broker” section do not have a reported cost basis and instead turbotax uses the transactions from the 1099-B "Supplemental Stock Plan Lot Detail" section, does the “Proceeds from Broker” section serve the filer any purpose and does TurboTax even store that information (I can’t find it). After having done a first pass over my taxes, but before I filed, my broker issued a correction to my 1099-B. The errors fixed related to RSU transactions. There are about 27 of them, and the changes amounted to essentially removing 4 of the transactions and replacing with 4 others. This is in the “Proceeds from Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions” section of the 1099-B. This impacted the total shares sold and the proceeds total. There were no changes to the “Supplemental Stock Plan Lot Detail” used to adjust the cost basis of the shares (adjusted because 1099-B shows them with a $0 cost basis). What I noticed now is that the "Proceeds from Broker" section and the supplemental section are now agreeing with each other w.r.t. total shares sold and total proceeds, which is good. Previously they did not. I’m surprised TurboTax didn’t flag this error. I’m trying to figure out how to update my return with these corrections. I really don’t want to remove the downloaded 1099-B and re-download it, mostly because dealing with the supplemental transactions is probably where I’ve already spent half my time with this tax return. Not something I want to repeat. I noticed that currently the 8849 and schedule D seem to be using the data from the supplemental, not the “Proceeds from Broker” section that is reported directly to the IRS. Since there was no correction to the supplemental, and it appears to be correct, my return also appears to be correct, even without applying any of the 1099-B corrections. I’m not so sure the 1099-B “Proceeds from Broker “ section is actually serving my return any purpose. When I edit the 1099-B in EasyStep mode, it shows my the supplemental transactions, not the “Proceeds from Broker” transactions, so I’m not so sure there is actually anything for me to correct. The IRS will use their copy of the 1099-B to verify that my 8849 and schedule D totals look correct, but since the 1099-B is not actually part of my return, it seems I don’t even need to correct these errors (and in fact there may be nothing to correct). Am I understanding this correctly?

I am using TurboTax 2025 Deluxe (WinPerRelease Module version 025.000.0270). I have just installed the latest updates on February 27, 2026. I am also using Windows 11 Home.
I am unable to perform the simple task of inputting my interest and dividend income into TurboTax.
After clicking Yes on the page that asks, “Did you have investment income in 2025?” I then get a page I have never seen before. The first line on that page reads: icn-accurate-reporting-investment-sales.svg. The second line reads: Let’s finish pulling in your investment income. The third line reads: You can import from more accounts by selecting Add investments.
There is only two buttons available on this never-before-seen page. So I click first on the Add Investments button. That takes me to the page that says, Let us Enter Your Bank and Brokerage Tax Documents. This is the section that automatically retrieves investment information from your banks, which is not what I want to do. I want to input the information manually.
So I then go back to click on the only other button available, which is Confirm. That takes me to the Other Interest and Dividends page, which handles uncommon situations. I then select None of the Above, and then I click Continue. That takes me out to the Your 2025 Income Summary.
So how do I manually input my interest and dividend income? Am I doing some wrong?
Thanks.
