@egavasm If you are age 70 1/2 or older and the distribution was from an IRA and you checked the box on the TurboTax Form 1099-R, IRA/SEP/SIMPLE and box 7 has a 7 entered, after completing entry of the 1099-R there will be a series of screens asking various questions. On the screen Do any of these situations apply to you? check the box labeled I transferred all or part of this money directly to charity and continue.

You should have received Form 1099-G showing unemployment benefits received from your state.   You can log into your state's unemployment benefits online portal or call them to request Form 1099-G.   Here is an IRS article that discusses what to do if you are unable to get your Form 1099-G by the time your tax return is due.
So does anyone know if you actually do the update to TT Premier, does this issue of deleting already imported data go away? Is that the solution to this problem?

Turbo tax keeps pushing the date back a week and doesn’t clarify efiling an amended return. Good luck.

Because you are using the Business software to generate the K-1 and then likely using a Personal version (Premier or Home & Business) to file your individual D-400, there are two distinct points where a disconnect can happen.    Part 1: Fix the K-1 in TurboTax Business The deduction on your personal return is triggered by data on the NC K-1 Supplemental Schedule. If that schedule is blank, your personal return won't "know" there's a deduction to take. Check the Supplemental Schedule: In TurboTax Business, switch to Forms Mode (top right). Open the NC K-1 Supplemental Schedule for each partner. The income amount should appear on Line 38, Part B. If it is $0 or blank, the software isn't pulling it from the D-403 Part 4 automatically. If it is "0" or blank and you are in the desktop version of TurboTax, you may need to override Line 38 on the Supplemental Schedule and manually enter the partner's share of the taxed income. This ensures that when the K-1 is produced, the "data" exists for your personal return to read.   Part 2: Fix the Personal Return (D-400) Once the K-1 is corrected, your personal return should pick it up. If it still doesn't produce Schedule S, you must manually trigger the deduction:   Go to the North Carolina state interview in your personal TurboTax software. Look for a screen titled "Tell Us About Your State Schedules K-1". When entering the NC K-1 details, look for a field specifically for "Taxed Pass-Through Entity Income" (usually under a "Deductions" or "Adjustments" sub-menu).  Enter the amount from your K-1 Supplemental Schedule here. This will force TurboTax to generate Schedule S and populate Line 38a. Check your D-400, Line 9. It should now reflect the deduction, reducing your NC taxable income so you aren't taxed twice. What is causing this is unknown. The “Taxed Partnership” election is still fairly new (going back to 2022/2023), and TurboTax’s automatic mapping from the entity return (D-403) to the individual return (D-400) through the Supplemental Schedule has had ongoing issues.

@user17720738631 Sometimes TurboTax records the contribution but doesn't automatically apply the deduction for the current year (it might assume you want to carry it forward). Let's check a few things:    Go back to the FHSA section in the interview. Look for a screen that asks: "How much of your FHSA contribution do you want to deduct this year?" Ensure the full $8,000 is entered in the "Amount to claim" box. If this is blank, the summary will show $0, even if the T4FHSA is present. -- If you are using the CD/download version of TurboTax, the summary pages sometimes fail to refresh even after the data is updated. Switch to Forms Mode (bottom left or top menu). Open Schedule 15. Make a tiny change (e.g., delete one digit of the $8,000 and retype it). This often forces the software to "recalculate" all linked summary fields. Switch back to EasyStep and check the summary again.   You mentioned it worked in 2024. In 2025, TurboTax updated its flow to better handle carry-forwards. Check if you have accidentally indicated that you are a "First-Time Home Buyer" who made a qualifying withdrawal in 2025.   I hope this helps!
I installed the new update just now and tried a single checked import again.  Same  result, deleted everything.  Here is a screen shot of the false"requires an upgrade to Premier" message:

Your answer is only half right.  The problem is that when you do a download of information directly from the institution then Turbo Tax does not ask the question about the charitable donation because the institution is not required to put the code in on the form they send this year nor are they required to confirm that the charity is a 503C which is why they just indicate that it is all normal distribution and taxable when it is not.  The program does not ask if part was a direct charitable contribution. The problem is further complicated when doing your state taxes because even if you put the information manually on the federal return and turbo tax asks if part was a QCD and thus do not pay federal tax on the charitable contribution the state return only looks at the form from the IRA administer and misses that a portion was a charitable gift from an IRA that is not taxable.  You end up paying tax on the QCD to the state.

If TurboTax calculates the same amount for Prior Depreciation that you have per your records, there's no reason to override the number presented by the software. If the business use percentage has changed, enter that percentage for the current tax year. TurboTax will calculate the appropriate depreciation based on the information you provided.   Basically, you are entering the adjusted basis and accumulated depreciation to arrive at the depreciable basis. Current depreciation is based on that number - the property history is irrelevant because you know the depreciable basis.

Is this the first time you are filing a return with the CRA? Do you have any locked forms from this list on your return? https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/tax-return/turbotax-say-for...   If not, then make sure to check your personal information, like your name & address. Make sure the information matches what the CRA has for you. If you are not sure what they have on file for you, you can confirm it with them. Also, make sure that you have not said yes to the question, "Is this your first tax return being filed with the CRA?" under "Mandatory questions." If you have an NAC (Netfile access code), we recommend removing it and giving it a try because it is not a required field.   Let us know how it goes.   Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
