Yes, you will be able to redo your taxes depending on your situation. It depends  on whether the IRS has already "accepted" your return or if you submitted it and it has been rejected.   If you just hit "Submit" and it hasn't been accepted by the IRS yet, you have to wait.   If you get rejected: You can fix the errors in your TurboTax file and submit it again like it was the first time. If Pending:  You have to wait for the IRS to officially Accept or Reject it before you can take the next step. If the IRS has already accepted your return, you have to file an Amended Return (Form 1040-X).  To amend,  wait until you receive your original refund (if you were owed one). If you amend while the first return is still being processed, it can cause problems and delay in processing your refund, if you are owed one.   To amend you return and if you use TurboTax online   Sign in and scroll down to Your tax returns & documents. Select 2025 and then select Amend (change) return. Select Amend using TurboTax Online. Follow the instructions given. If using desktop:   Go to the Federal Taxes tab (or "Personal" depending on your version). Look for Other Tax Situations. Scroll down to Other Tax Forms and select Amend a Return. TurboTax will ask, "Did you already file your return?" Select Yes. Follow the instructions given The amending process is not available until after 2-25 but it is critical not to begin until:   Yuor return has been accepted by the IRS You receive your original refund (if you are owed one)

i had to delete the 1099R one at a time until I found the one that was added in correctly.  Then I added that 1099R back in and\ line 5b on the 1040SR was correct.

It looks like the IRS caught the missing W-2 on their own and automatically adjusted your return to match the records in their database. Instead of the $2,346 refund you expected, they calculated your actual tax liability as $888 and subtracted your total withholdings of $1,027, which leaves you with a final refund of exactly $139. The Code 846 on your transcript shows they have already authorized that $139 payment for March 2nd, so that is the amount you’ll actually receive. Since the IRS already fixed the mistake and "resolved" the issue with Code 571, you probably won't even need to file an amendment unless you find another error.

This experience has been reported but we have no estimated date for an update. We recommend that you either: 1) enter a negative one (1) in the Regular Tax column on that line OR 2) delete the carryover amount in the QBI column.   It was determined last year that the amount that appears in the QBI column was either utilized in a prior year or disallowed and should not have been carried over.

Did you have an HVAC system installed including an air handler as well as the AC? If the units were installed as one item, (and you only have one total cost) but only the Air Conditioner counts towards the credit, you may be allowed to use the highest cost of that model air conditioner towards the credit.    You must supply the QMID code which is X7Z8.

My 2025 1099-R shows both my distribution in 2025 and the missed 2024 distribution.  My 2024 tax return with the correction on form 5329 was accepted.  When I fill out my 2025 taxes in TT 2025 desktop deluxe on 2025’s form 5329 I keep getting review alerts.  I have triple checked my numbers with the 2025 required distribution numbers.  What am I doing wrong?

Checked today and still no updates.  I have decided that March 1st will be my hard deadline, after which I will not be moving forward with TT.  I feel that this is sufficient time for them to address their "glitch."   The TT representative with whom I previously spoke about a week ago said something about the possibility of securing a refund for the tax software; however, it has to be received from the place from where the purchase was made (and there is a time-sensitive deadline to secure a refund).  I'm sure that this is not an easy process.   The clock is ticking.
Thank you for reporting your experience. We are currently investigating the issue and will provide updates as soon as possible.
Please clarify if this question relates to a Schedule C business or to a rental property. It would also be helpful if you would post a screenshot of the entire browser window when this message appears.

No.   Premier cannot be upgraded to TurboTax Business.   TT Business is a completely separate program that can only be used on Windows and it is for returns for S-corps, C-corps, multi-member partnerships and estates.   The desktop versions Deluxe, Premier or Home & Business are only for personal tax returns.   Even if you use TT Business for a business return you will still also need software for a personal return. https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/cd-download/?
