Who was the letter from?   No one in the user forum can see any of your information, so no one knows about a letter you received or why you received it.   TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.   Was the letter from the IRS?  Your state?   From TurboTax?
To clarify, what version of TurboTax are you using? Online or desktop?

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing or the timing when the IRS releases your refund.    The IRS Where's My Refund site will not take into account the 5 days early, but if you signed up for the 5 Day Early product, you should receive your refund deposited 5 days prior to the date indicated by the IRS, assuming all conditions are met.   For more information click on the link below 5 Days Early Option   If you don't get your deposit 5 days early, there is a few reasons why that might happen.   Your refund was offset or differed from their estimated refund amount, bringing the refund amount below the minimum threshold or above the maximum. What is a refund offset? Your bank wouldn't accept RTP (Real Time Payments) or Same Day ACH deposits, preventing Intuit from depositing your refund 5 days ahead of when the IRS would have deposited your refund. The IRS didn't give Intuit 5 or more days of notice in advance. This stopped Intuit from meeting the 5 days early expectations. If TurboTax is unable to deliver the refund 5 days early, your order will be canceled and you won't be charged the 5-Day Early fee. You will receive a follow-up email with a refund and timing update, and if any cancellation is applicable.

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.   To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings: Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu. Toggle the switch to ON. Refresh the page and attempt your import again. If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play: Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements. Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back. Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. I am also confused by the wording of the questions and explanation of this in the turbo tax software.  Yes, you can deduct the portion of your mortgage interest attributable to a home office as a business expense on Schedule C, even if you do not itemize deductions on Schedule A . The home office deduction allows self-employed individuals to claim a percentage of home expenses (based on office square footage) as business expenses, which are separate from personal itemized deductions.  Key Details on Deducting Home Office Interest Method: This is done via Form 8829 (Expenses for Business Use of Your Home). Alternative: You can also use the simplified option ($5 per square foot, up to 300 sq ft) for the home office deduction, which does not require detailing mortgage interest. Self-Employed Focus: This deduction is specifically for business owners or independent contractors, not employees working from home. Limitation: You cannot deduct the same expense twice (e.g., claiming it as a business expense and also itemizing it on Schedule A).  So we should click the box to check include this interest for the home office right? but then it asks about excess mortgage interest and we should also enter the full interest amount as excess mortgage interest here because we aren't itemizing?

I figured it out. I converted a traditional IRA that was 3 years old to Roth this year. It was just coincident that the taxable amount on that conversion was the exact same amount as my basis from those 2 years. So the amount was correct. The odds of that are crazy but I did the math and it checks out. Thank you for responding!

It seems to be so random for everyone. I got an email last week that said everything was ready for me to file now, including the 8915 form. I had already switched over to H&R Block though and filed. And others were able to file in the last few days. I am not sure why the form is not available to everyone?!. Frustrating. So sorry it is not working for you. I will say that H&R Block was flawless. I think I am done with TurboTax

Here's how to get all the forms and schedules.   TurboTax Online: Sign in to your TurboTax Account. Scroll down to the "Your tax returns & documents" section. Select the specific tax year you need (e.g., 2025). Click "Add a State" (you aren't actually adding one, but this "unlocks" the return so you can access the Print Center). In the left-hand menu, select Tax Tools > Print Center. Select Print, save or preview this year's return. The Key Step: Look for a checkbox or dropdown that says "Include government and TurboTax worksheets" or "All forms." Click View/Print to generate the full PDF, which will now include every schedule (like Schedule C, D, or E) and the internal worksheets.   TurboTax Desktop: If you used the software installed on your computer, you must open the specific program for that year (e.g., open the TurboTax 2025 app). Open your saved .tax file. Go to File > Print. In the print window, select the radio button for "All forms and worksheets." Choose "Save as PDF" to keep a digital copy with every detail.
