Yes. I had the same problem, and was able to get around it. Well, not exactly get around it ; I just got it to work. I did two things, and I don't know which one actually made things work, but here they are: First, I changed my default browser to Edge. I have no idea whether this did anything or not. But it was coincident with my getting the download accomplished. Second, I just plowed ahead with where TurboTax wanted me to go, where you get those big, huge bubbles where one of the options is to Review. I just went ahead and selected review, and it was at that point that the actual numbers from the brokerage were integrated into the TurboTax forms. I had previously noted that the information had actually been downloaded, even though it didn't show up where I expected it to be. When I clicked on the view details, the information was there; it was just not integrated into TurboTax forms yet. But going through the process of reviewing the 10 99–INT and 1099 – DEV made all of the numbers integrate into TurboTax properly. So, it might not have been a change to Edge that did anything. It might just have been the fact that I didn't proceed through the process that TurboTax wanted me to go through because it was so different from the import process of the last many years that I was used to.

I am having some trouble with the 2555 portion of the tax return; in particular there is an item for the number of days spent in the US on business during the physical presence or bona fide resident period. The days spent in the US were entirely leisure, that is, 0 of the days were spent on business. However, the form does not accept the value of 0, and it also cannot remain blank if you want to e-file, vs. file by mail. This leaves the user with only the options of entering the lowest minimum accepted value of 1 (which is inaccurate) or filing by mail, which is extremely cumbersome. One would expect to be able to simply put 0 days spent on business for that item...

No do not include 2022 payments as well. If you received a state tax refund for 2021 in 2025, and you did not itemize your deductions in 2021, there is nothing to report. You should delete the 1099-G for that refund. Then if necessary, and assuming there is no other refund included on that form, you should delete the worksheet.
Use the link below for your version of TurboTax to delete a form.
If you're using TurboTax Online software and need to delete a form, click here.

You can answer that you only earned them in one state and enter Tennessee for the state you earned them in. The purpose of the question is to determine if any of the dividends are from the state you live in, as they may not be taxable in that state. Since you don't have a state income tax, it won't matter what state you assign the income to.

Are you using the online or desktop version? If you are using the desktop version, you can just switch to forms mode to look for form D422 which is the underpayment penalty worksheet for North Carolina. If you are using the online version, you can go to the print center and then select all forms and you should be able to see your form D-422. You can also find the underpayment penalty and interest screen by walking through the state interview questions. Here you should be able to edit the numbers. Be sure that if you are editing the numbers that you are correct in editing them.
Another way you can see this is by going to the start of the state interview. There should be a screen that tells you your taxable income, tax withheld and tax liability. If this does not look correct, you can go back to the federal income section and select Income>>Wages>>W-2 and double check the entries in your W-2 box 15-17. Be sure that you have commas and periods in the correct spot as well as making sure the numbers are correct.
The only place you can change your taxes withheld is in the W-2 section.
If the numbers are correct and you simply did not have enough withheld, you would need to make changes with your employer and how much they are withholding. The tax rate for 2025 was 4.25%. North Carolina State Income Tax in 2025: A Guide

TT Deluxe for 2025 not importing documents from Schwab 1099 as of today Mar 4, 2026. Called TT but no help, said there must be over 10K transactions; ugh not even close. Small number of transactions, not 10K. Program says were good with import but flags all docs as exclamation and no data on the 1099 forms.

If you would like to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information it would help. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions: (Don't forget to give us the state)
TurboTax Online:
Open your return -Go to the menu panel on the left side of your return and select Tax Tools.
Then select Tools below Tax Tools.
A window will pop up which says Tools Center.
On this screen, select Share my file with Agent.
You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is. Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
Reply to this thread with your Token number and your state. This will allow us to open a copy of your return without seeing any personal information.
TurboTax Desktop:
If you like, you can send a copy of your return that will be scrubbed to eliminate your personal data by using these steps:
Click on Online in the top left menu of TurboTax Desktop for Windows
Select 'Send Tax File to Agent'* > Follow the prompts to reach the token number.
Enter your email used for TurboTax > Enter your code > Send
Write down or send an image of your token number and state then place in this issue.
We can then review your exact scenario for a solution.
Please also tell us any states included in the return. This is necessary for us to view the return.
*If using a MAC, go to the menu at the top of the screen, select Help, then, 'Send Tax File to Agent')
We will be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return to provide you with a resolution.

When reviewing over my Georgia tax forms, I found that the Georgia Form 500 p1-3, Georgia Itemized Deduction Smart Worksheet Item #4, is showing $10,000 as the SALT limitation. Didn't this change to $40,000 for tax reporting year 2025? Shouldn't this worksheet be showing the $40,000. I am using the Turbo Tax Desktop version.
