Do you not see the option?  When you get to the screen that says, "Get your federal refund faster" and it gives the option of Fast deposit to Credit Karma or a bank account, select "No thanks". The next screen is "How would you like to receive your federal refund?" You do need to know if your return was accepted by MO using the TurboTax system as xmasbaby0 mentions above.  Next, you need to know if MO shows that you filed a return. No information is not a good answer. You need to know if they got it or not.  If MO shows you filed, they may be slow in processing it or have a hold on it. If MO thinks you did not file: Sometimes returns are processed by us but the receiver did not get it. In that case, you will need to: call TurboTax 800-446-8848 prove who you are with an identity quiz get your DCN- declaration control number. call MO 573-751-3505 give them the number so that they can locate your file and process your return.

Converting interest and dividends to equal monthly amounts made little difference since those income streams are close to evenly distributed anyway. And no matter what I do with capital gains, either by entering it as received in each period or distributing it evenly still didn't match what TurboTax calculates for the periods. Everything matches right to the dollar in the 4th period because that is calculated by using the CG & QD Worksheet. So it is the way that Turbo is parsing the income in each period that is the problem.   It makes it even more aggravating that the instruction on line 14 says simply "Figure your tax on the amount on line 13". But it doesn't really mean that because the amounts are already there and it won't let you alter them. In nearly all other cases where Turbo has entered a number you can simply right click on the number and it will take you to its source. But here it just highlights it. There no way I have found to force it to show me how it did the calculation.   To make it further obscure, the amounts for Cap Gains and Qualified Dividends are shown in the table between lines 13 & 14, which further hides how the calculation in line 14 was performed. The implication is that you should use those as-is for each period (i.e., no smoothing), but that algorithm doesn't produce the result that Turbo displays in line 14. <sigh>

Some of our customers are experiencing issues when trying to file and pay with their refund.  We are investigating this issue.  However, if you would prefer to file now, you can do so by switching to pay your TurboTax fees with a credit card instead of using the pay with my refund option by following these steps.   Keep in mind that you must meet the following conditions in order to use the pay-with refund feature:   Your refund must be enough to cover your TurboTax fees. You must have an address in the United States. You must be e-filing. The name on the bank account must match the name on the tax return. Your refund must be directly deposited into a single account.  Click here for Can I pay with my refund?     You can also try logging out of the program, closing your browser and then logging back in and trying again.     You can also try clearing your cache and cookies. This often solves an issue.   For further instructions on how to clear cache and delete cookies, please see the links below:   Click here for How to clear your cache.   Click here for How do I delete cookies?   If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can manually check for updates for  your TurboTax program by clicking on "Online" in the black bar near the top of your screen and selecting "Check for Updates."   Please return to Community if you have any additional information or questions and we would be happy to help.

It depends on what they mean by cumulative.    If they mean that is the premium, yes, enter that total amount as deductible overtime.  If they mean that was the total overtime, base AND premium, no, you would need to determine the premium portion.  Do you know how many hours of overtime you worked?  Try to determine if they are reporting the overtime premium, the total base and premium or ask your employer if you are not sure.    Example, if you earn 20/hour, your overtime would be paid at 30/hour if you're paid time and one half for overtime.  If you worked 10 hours overtime, you might say you earned 300 in overtime, but you earned only 100 of DEDUCTABLE overtime.    So you need to determine if you earned 40,815 in overtime and 13,605 is the premium portion, or that you earned only 13,605 in overtime and the premium is only 4,535.    @zdbrosseau
