The interest income may be on the return but you are not seeing it on a summary screen. I suggest you look directly on the Form 1040 to see if the interest income is listed on line 2(b).    To view your form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3:   Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online while working in your program Choose Tools Choose View Tax Summary See the Preview my 1040 option in the left menu bar and click on it Choose the Back option in the left menu bar when you are done
I can not e file my 2025 NY State return- tried a few times. It is so frustrating that i can not get the answer as to why? I have already filed my 2025 FEDERAL tax return. Thanks.
A workaround that others have used in this scenario is to enter all 0's in the 7-digit box, to ensure that e-filing eligibility is not disrupted.

You can check  to see if your return was accepted by the IRS in TurboTax.  If you used TurboTax Online, you can see the status of your return on  the Tax Home screen of your account.  You should have also received emails updating you on your return status.     If you used TurboTax Desktop: Select File. Select Check E-file status.   Once your return is accepted, you can visit the IRS Where's My Refund? to check the status of your refund.  Most efiled returns take 21 days to process.  If your refund includes Earned Income Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will start making those refunds available by March 2, 2026.

I’ve used TurboTax for 14 years and I can’t believe this Schedule 1 reject issue has not been resolved?  Mine’s been rejected twice and it’s all due to the fact that I listed $12 in jury duty pay and a $38 class action settlement…really?  Where’s the admin for this chat?
We are filling jointly; TurboTax shows our combined income is less than $126,000.00, but continues adding form 8959 and not letting us file for free.

We have researched this experience and found that transferring a business return from TurboTax Business Online to the desktop version is no longer supported. You will not be able to file your California return using the imported file.   We recommend that you start a new TurboTax Business Desktop file and re-enter your federal business return information. Then create your California return and e-file ONLY the state tax return. This is called a "stand alone" state return.   If you encounter any further difficulties, please post in this thread.

Not sure I should bother with this, I've already mailed my return as instructed by TurboTax support over the phone.  If there's a way to recoup the cost of e-filing since I couldn't use it, that would be great.
i dont hit the income limit for it, but it will not let me go on without the turbotax deluxe

The IRS uses your prior year AGI to combat fraud. Make sure you take into account the information below.   You can find your 2024 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) by: Looking at line 11 on page 1 of your 2024 Form 1040 Requesting a transcript of your 2024 tax return from the IRS. You can request your transcript online at the following link: Get Transcript Please click on this TurboTax article for more information.    Check these items as well to ensure you have the correct number.  If you:  Filed late last year after mid-November or your return was processed after that time—try entering 0. Amended your return last year—make sure you’re using the AGI from your original return, not the amended one. (If you only have a 1040X form, it’s on line 1, column A). Rounded your AGI to the nearest dollar—be sure to round up when it’s 50 cents or more and down when it’s 49 cents or less. Filed with your spouse last year—you and your spouse have the same 2024 AGI. (Don’t split the AGI amount or enter  0  for one of you).   Time-saving Tip: If what you entered is correct and you continue to get a reject, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return.    This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.

Your experience has been forwarded to our TurboTax developers and they are working on a resolution. Thank you for bringing to our attention.   Here's additional information regarding 529 Plan distributions.   The 529 distribution (reported on Form 1099-Q) only needs to be reported on the tax return of the person whose SSN is on the form if the withdrawal is more than the tuition paid in Box 1 of the 1098-T plus other adjusted qualified educational expenses. In that case, the earnings on the excess distribution would be taxable income.   First, determine if the Form 1099-Q needs to be reported on the tax return by comparing the withdrawal with the tuition paid on the 1098-T added to other qualified educational expenses. To find out what are qualified educational expenses, review the IRS Tax benefits for education: Information center. Refer to the TurboTax articles Guide to IRS Form 1099-Q: Payments from Qualified Education Programs and What is IRS Form 1099-Q? for further details.   Secondly, enter the 1099-Q if the withdrawal exceeds the educational expenses by following the directions in the TurboTax Help article Where do I enter a 1099-Q?   When the student's school expenses are paid with these funds, you can't claim a tuition deduction  or either of the educational tax credits for the same expense.
