To check if you signed up for the TurboTax Refund Advance, you can look in a few specific places in your account or your email.
Check Your TurboTax Order Details
On the Tax Home page, scroll down to the section for "Your tax returns & documents."
Select View Order Details.
Look for "Refund Advance" or "Credit Karma Money" listed under your payment and refund methods.
If it’s not there, you likely selected a standard direct deposit or a different refund option.
Look for Confirmation Emails
If you applied, you should have received automated emails from TurboTax and its partners.
From TurboTax: Search for an email confirming your "Refund Selection."
From Credit Karma: If you were approved, Credit Karma sends an email when the funds are deposited into your Credit Karma Money Spend account.
From WebBank: If your application was denied, you will receive an email from WebBank (the lender) explaining the reason for the decline.
Check Your Credit Karma Money Account
Because the Refund Advance is deposited into a Credit Karma Money™ Spend account, checking that account is the fastest way to see if the loan was processed.
Log in to your Credit Karma account.
Navigate to the Money tab.
If you see a pending or completed deposit for a portion of your refund (typically between $250 and $4,000) shortly after the IRS accepted your return, that is your Refund Advance.
Review Your Tax Return Summary
You can also find clues on your actual tax forms:
Open your 2025 return in TurboTax
Go to the Tax Tools menu on the left
Select Print Center
View your Federal Information Worksheet
Look at the "Direct Deposit" section
If you signed up for the advance, the bank account listed will be the MVB Bank account associated with Credit Karma, rather than your personal bank account.

When I login to Quick Employer Forms website, I see a ton of "IN-COMPLETE" status entries and I see one section on the left for 2024 and I see one e-file complete status form. Is there a way to see all past e-filed forms, more than a year back in history? Also, is there a way to determine if all those "IN-COMPLETE" entries are safe to delete, since I assume these are my attempts this year and in the past which I abandoned and didn't actually transfer.

I am trying other update my business details for a new address and after I press save, the page updates to a blank page and when I refresh or go back, the old address is still the one that shows up. I have tried clearing cookies and cache, I have tried a different browser, a different computer, and my iPhone. All of them have the same behavior. I tried calling Turbotax support and they said they cannot help. I was sent to Quickbooks support but they only support Quickbooks. What's the best number to contact support for this site - Intuit Quick Employer Forms? Looks like others have seen some other issues in creating new business and such, is this also related to the same issue on Intuit's side?

Unknown. However, most likely if the TurboTax software does not support a particular IRS form, the tax experts in a TurboTax store would not support the form.

If by Marketplace, you are referring to the Premium Tax Credit, this isn't automatically a refund. This amount is entered on Form 8962 and depending on your income, and other household factors, it can be reduced dramatically.
Without additional information, it's unclear what could have caused your refund amount to be reduced. More than likely, it could have been:
Your tax liability absorbed most of the non-refundable Child Tax Credit
Your additional Child Tax Credit was capped
Your premium tax credit was reduced or offset

Do you have sales or need to enter a K-1? Sorry you need to upgrade to Online Premium to enter investments. If you have the Desktop program you can use Deluxe. Or do you have a 1099R? That can go in Deluxe but won't be ready until Jan 21.

Hello: Can somebody please let me know specifically what the issue is here? See pic below. According to the information I have (Claude AI): " IRS Form 1120-S is active and current." I am attempting to complete my business return for federal and the state of South Carolina. Does this mean that Form 1120S is operational in my TT Business product? Or does this refer to Schedule K-1 specifically? What is TT waiting for here? Thank you for your time.

So my wife and I are recently married. We are updating our W4’s. We have 2 jobs total. 1 job each. My yearly income is 85K and my wife’s income is 48K. Since her income is barely over half of my income would it be advisable for us to both check box 2C on W4 and that’s it? Or is it better for myself having the higher paying job to use step 2B multiple jobs worksheet? If I opt to use option 2B does my wife need to do the same, or does she just opt to checking box 2C? I want to make sure this doesn’t mess anything up if we decide to go this route and have too much federal tax with-held and still owe at the end of the year. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

(sigh...) "Windows 10" is not a single monolithic product. Microsoft has nearly a dozen editions, literally with different SKUs and "support" sunset dates. Here's the link for the official Support Dates for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 that I've provided earlier in this thread and elsewhere in the forum: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-iot-enterprise-ltsc-2021 And here's the actual table from that page: Note that this table was published years ago, and this edition does indeed still have MAINSTREAM support for another year, and EXTENDED support for another five years after that. You can call this Windows 10 edition "deprecated" but that's obviously not what the vendor calls it (yet). BTW, the proper term here for Windows 10 Home and Pro editions would be "discontinued". Deprecate is generally not used for an entire software product but for components of that product. (I won't bother posting links to the relevant dictionary entries, feel free to look it up yourself...) I'm also not trying to win any arguments here. I'm just trying to make it clear that Microsoft's decision to discontinue certain editions of Windows 10 is obviously based on support considerations (not technical issues), just as Intuit's decision was made to discontinue Windows 10 support entirely. Microsoft could backpedal with continued ESR support for their most "popular" retail editions (Home and Pro) at least until the scheduled and published sunset date for their "last to die" edition (Windows 10 IoT Enterprise). It would hardly cost them any effort at all, since they're already on the hook to do that for IoT Enterprise edition. Which by definition means that IoT Enterprise edition is not "deprecated" or discontinued. So far we've seen nothing in TurboTax for TY2025 that "requires" Windows 11 to function correctly -- other than their plans to subject your tax return data to AI analysis. That feature-which-we-all-can't-live-without may require a Copilot+ PC (and Windows 11) but we simply don't have enough details on it yet to know for sure. In any case, this is just one example of what Microsoft calls "progress" that most of us never asked for and many of us absolutely don't want. So to say that we need to move off of Windows 10 for "enhancements, improvements, or even bug fixes that are, and will be, released in updates for Windows 11" is a pretty weak argument. There is not a single feature of Windows 11 that I personally need, but it's obviously loaded with adware, there are some pretty annoying new bugs in the dumbed-down Explorer interface, and it's missing features from Windows 10 that were very helpful to my workflow. Anyway, it's obvious that we don't agree here, but I am just responding to the topic of the OP (check the Subject again) to say again that yes I agree, Windows 11 is a POS. Cheers everyone! 🍺
