OK, perhaps, but I have never used the online version of TurboTax (nor do I ever intend to), so I don't know why Intuit thinks that is a useful / reasonable offset for discontinuing ItsDeductable?

I believe the 30% discount for It's Deductible being discontinued is only for the Online versions, not the Desktop download program.

Only 2022, 2023, 2024 are available) . if you paid the Turbotax fees you should contact support to see if they'll push a free version of the desktop for that year.

Yes Online Premium is the highest version. It combines the old Online Premier and Self Employed versions. It has all the things as the Desktop Home & Business version. Here's some more info...... See this article https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/articles/community-news-announcements/turbotax-windows-10-desktop-software-end-of-life/05/3708302 It says the Online version will have some new features over the Desktop program like… This year, we’re offering many new ways to automatically bring in your tax documents into TurboTax Online, including uploading PDFs of 1099-B and 1099-Composite forms. Be sure to have the 2024 return file ending in .tax2024 on your computer so you can transfer it into the online version next year. If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version. It has less features and no Forms Mode. And you will have to pay first to see all the forms. All the Online versions do not have the same forms so you may need to upgrade to a higher version. Online Premium is the highest vesion and has all the same forms as the Desktop programs. You can only do 1 return per account. And pay for each account. You can use the same email for 5 accounts. Federal and state are separate fees. Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2025 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done. In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something. You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.

I have used the TT Home & Business app for years. Now due to the Win 10 incompatibility (thanks, Intuit!), it's the online version or no TT. How does the online version work related to the various app versions: Basic, Deluxe, H&B, etc.? The only options Intuit appears to show are for online for the level of assistance (self-guided, online advice, or human expert), not the level of the return itself? Is the online version going to take me through all the things that apply to a home business? At the same, one cost? Would really just prefer to purchase the H&B app, but again Win 10. Might be HR Block coming...

You might have to use the Desktop program. Download the .tax2023 file and open it in the Desktop program. Then make a copy (do File-Save As and give it another name) of the file which you have to do anyway to amend. You will still have the original file with the original federal and state returns. Then in the copy you can amend. You probably will have to go though the federal section first to amend. What do you need to change on your state return? Which state?
