Agreed - “clunky” is the most appropriate description for the experience in the 2025 version. My forms wouldn’t import, fields would delete data rather than saving when hitting the Continue button (which required me to go back and fix issues before filing). All in all, I just don’t know that I felt I received good value for money. To top it all off, I was forced to buy an upgrade product because I received unemployment income last year. I don’t have a complicated tax situation at all. But because I lost my job last year, TurboTax charges me more so I can compete an additional form for them to file? This is the behavior of a scam artist, not a trusted partner. Do better.

Their fees are insane and you can't get any support whatsoever, only incompetent idiots who call you. They miscalculated my grandsons federal refund and now I can't get ANY support with THEIR mistake whatsoever, they tell me to call the IRS, well it wasn't the IRS who screwed it up, it was TURBO TAX! By "they" does that mean the program miscalculated, or did you use the LIVE TurboTax feature that has a tax expert assistance? In any case, if you want to escalate your issue, you can contact a liaison in the office of the president of Intuit. They say they will get back to you within 1 business day, although with filing deadline, this is a busy time, so it might be more than 1 day. Here's the contact info: https://www.intuit.com/company/contact/office-of-the-president/

AirBnb/Vrbo only report under one tax id number. What is best practice for when that should be split between 2 owners? Is there a place to enter it, or just attach a statement? I had this issue for years with mortgage interest and attached a statement, but then it was integrated into the Schedule E form in TT.
