You would enter this as Passive Category Income. Then enter your foreign taxes as Foreign Taxes on other Income when you get to that screen in the Foreign Tax Credit section. You should never be asked about DIV or LT gains.
You enter the total sum of all taxes paid (withheld) by Canada from these income sources. There is no need to detail the individual financial institutions that paid distributions and issued the NR4's.
One thing that should be mentioned. If all your foreign accounts (including pensions) had more than $10,000 USD at any point in 2025, you must report it on FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR). The report needs to be reported here.
Additionally, : If you live in the U.S. and your foreign accounts and assets are worth more than $50,000 (Single) or $100,000 (Joint), you must also file Form 8938 with your 1040. This form is supported by Turbo Tax. The TurboTax menu path is as follows.
Go to federal
Go to Other Tax Situations (on the top menu or left-hand side).
Scroll down to Other Tax Forms.
Click "Start" or "Revisit" next to Prepare a report on foreign financial assets.

There may not be an error on TurboTax's end. You should go back through the personal information section and make sure your social security number is correct and you indicated that you were filing your return with your spouse. Also, when you enter your W-2 form make sure you indicate that it is for you and not your spouse. If that doesn't work, delete your W-2 entry and re-enter it. If you still have trouble try clearing the cache on your computer and re-boot it.

If you made a mistake and claimed a child when you should not have done so, alert the other parent asap. When they try to e-file their return claiming the child, their e-file is going to be rejected. They will have two choices----one would be to print, sign and mail their return that claims the child. They do not have to wait for you to amend. Waiting will not help them at all.
The other possibility for them is to get IP PIN's and try to e-file:
GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return
https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-takes-steps-to-help-prevent-refund-delays-by-accepting-duplicate-dependent-returns-with-an-ip-pin-for-2025-filing-season-taxpayers-encouraged-to-sign-up-soon-for-ip-pin-online-account
https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin
Whichever remedy the other parent chooses, they have no reason to wait for you to amend. Your amended return will take months to be processed. And...you can expect to pay back child-related credits that you receive for claiming the child.

I think you mean when you upload the Form 1098 from your lender, the property tax paid mysteriously appears posted in TurboTax. If so, it must be included in the information uploaded from your lender, even though it is not listed on the form 1098 that you print out. TurboTax would have no way of knowing what the amount is unless it was on the upload from the lender, assuming you did not enter the amount in your program.
