Did you already e-file the return? If you have not e-filed you can just go back to MY INFO to make corrections to the wrong information that was entered. You do not click on "amend" to do that. You only use "amend" in order to make corrections to a return that has been filed and fully processed by the IRS.

It depends. If you have separate user IDs and/or logins for different accounts then you may be able to import different accounts. However, it's more likely you may need to enter additional accounts manually. You can use summary totals for interest, dividends and sales.
If you have separate user IDs for, say, a personal IRA and a spouse's IRA at the same firm, you may need to use the "modify import options" button to force a new login screen, or log out and clear cookies between imports.
A solution can be to enter summary transactions if you have many transactions.
1099-Bs: Your brokerage statements should include a summary of your transactions, grouped by sales category, for example, Box A short-term covered or Box D long-term covered.
You can always use direct entry if you choose, with summary totals. The only exception is wash sales, which must be entered separately, if you have any.
Where do I enter Form 1099-B? (Ignore import)
How do I mail Form 8453? (review if alerted)
Holding Periods:

Yes, main is accurate. Some comments not. Example, we worked from home in NJ and while we got audited proved income was not NY sourced. It took back and forth 3x to win but we did. Had to site specific rules, get letter from employer, etc. Then, for simplicity, they just assigned him to a different office. For many years we did not allocate to NY though his employer did. Then COVID, si many did that everyone was audited.

"5 days early" means you are supposed to receive your federal refund from one to five days sooner than the refund date shown on the IRS refund site. If it does not meet that "at least one day sooner" date, they are supposed to refund the $35 fee.
You have to pay attention to the date on the IRS refund site.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

This is not common. It may be necessary to access your TurboTax Account on a different device. This is the best way to check to see if you continue with the same experience. Follow the instructions for manual entry of your income documents instead of trying to import.

You can follow these FAQ steps to downgrade to a different TurboTax Online product:
Open your return if you haven't already.
In the left menu, select Switch Products.
Select Downgrade.
Note: TurboTax Free Edition is for taxpayers with simple Form 1040 returns only (no forms or schedules, except for EITC, CTC, student loan interest, and Schedule 1-A). 37% of taxpayers qualify. If we detect that your tax situation requires expanded coverage, like deductions for owning a home, unemployment income, or self-employment income, we'll prompt you to upgrade to a version that supports the forms you need.
After downgrading your product type, select File from the left side menu to proceed back to where you were in the filing process.

You generally cannot deduct repair expenses for a personal power surge unless your home was located in a federally declared disaster area at the time. If your area was officially designated by FEMA (for example, due to a major winter storm or hurricane on December 31), you can claim the loss, but you must first subtract any insurance reimbursements, and a $500 floor. See: What if I have property that was lost or damaged (a casualty loss)? If it was just a localized surge not tied to a federal disaster, the IRS does not allow a deduction for these personal expenses. However, you should check if the new appliances (such as a water heater) you bought qualify for energy-efficient tax credits, which could still save you up money regardless of where you live. (See: What appliances qualify for energy tax credits?)

Repairs and/or improvements on a personal residence, not used as a rental, are not deductible on a tax return.
The cost of any improvements can be added to the basis of the home when it is sold.

Standard TurboTax products don't support preparing or filing Form 1096. Form 1096 is a summary transmittal form used to submit certain paper information returns to the IRS, such as Forms 1099 and 1098, and is typically used by businesses or tax professionals filing information returns by paper instead of electronically. If you need to file Form 1096, TurboTax doesn't provide a feature to create it within the standard consumer versions. Filing Form 1096 usually requires specialized software or filing through IRS-approved channels outside of TurboTax.

Estimated tax payment vouchers are not always included as part of your return, but you can generate them yourself if you need to make estimated payments. You will be asked to enter information about your expected income and withholdings for the year and TurboTax will do the calculations and print the vouchers. There is also a similar procedure in each state tax return to generate state estimated payment vouchers.
Use the steps in the following TurboTax help article to get started:
How do I print estimated tax vouchers?
