Yes, you will both need to enter the form since the form covers members of both tax families.   You and your fiancé will need to use the shared policy allocation rules on your tax returns.   There will be a box to check to tell TurboTax you have a shared policy.   You can share the policy by any percentage you both agree upon    50/50,    0/100,    100/0,    30/70,   etc.   Where do I enter my 1095-A?   Here are some examples of policy allocations from the Form 8962 instructions.

Yes, you will file Schedule R and R-1 for the State of California Schedule R  Schedule R is the main form used to determine how much of your total S-Corp income is "sourced" to California. Schedule R-1 is used to determine your Single-Sales Factor formula to determine the apportionment by listing your  California sales ($1,500) vs. your "Everywhere" sales (CA + VA total).   You won't use Schedule R-2 because you have no non-business income to report. Here is the order on how to prepare your tax return.   First file Federal (Form 1120-S): It will show your total income for the whole year. Next file California (Form 100S + Schedule R). It will report  full-year federal figures, but  Schedule R  will apportion only the $1,500 for California. Mark it as your Final CA Return. Now file, Virginia (Form 502): Report the full-year figures, but  Virginia's version of apportionment (Schedule A)  will determine that only the income earned after Jan 29 belongs to VA.

@meagain1 wrote: Not sure why you are stumping for Intuit TT, but I have NEVER filed my taxes through Intuit.  I'm not "stumping" for anyone, anything, OR any product.   I'm merely pointing out that there are alternatives for those who don't want to upgrade to Windows 11 (which desktop versions of TurboTax require).    My attitude is if so-called "long-time users" of TurboTax don't want to use TurboTax for ANY reason, they do not have to and should not do so. The one issue I have is those same people continually whining about Intuit's policies on this board. If they don't like it, just move on; use a tax pro, different software, or prepare the return manually.
