The pricing is very competitive to the point of attractive. As to the effort to make it Win7 and/or Win10 compatible in the future only time will tell.

KRISD15, Thank you for your response I know that the AOP credit allows for books, etc. not purchased from the school. HOWEVER,  Turbo tax DOESN’T bring up the prompt asking to enter the amount of educational expenses (books, materials, supplies) purchased from an outside source. It only has a prompt where you can enter amounts of books purchased FROM the School. I spent over 3 1/2 hours on the phone with TURBO tax telling them about the GLITCH.  TURBO tax needs to FIX it and update there program.  I was told by a turbo tax agent to enter the amounts for required books, etc. from an outside store into the boxes that say to enter amounts into the box for purchase of books paid to the school. There is a GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM.

No, but this article will help you download any data you had in ItsDeductible (if used previously or during the year before it was shut down in October).   There will be a new tool that replaces ItsDeductible and its expected to be available the end of February or beginning of March. This is just an estimate and I would assume we will find out more as time goes on. At this time, this is all the information we were given.

I am only changing filing status, MFS to MFJ, so there aren't any new forms. I am taking your ((and everyone else's (including TT's)) advice and will mail only the 1040X + Schedule B to the IRS and IT-201X to NY State. That is, if I can't e-file either on Jan 26, when the IRS and NYSDF start accepting e-filed returns and TT says their software will be magically fixed and I will be able to e-file 🤣.

I received a 1099R from an insurance company who is managing the distribution of my fixed monthly income for this pension.  I entered all the information that Turbotax asked for including the amount in box 1 of the 1099R.  Now Turbotax is asking for how much of this amount listed in box 1 is the RMD.  I don't know the answer to that.  Do I just enter the amount in box 1 of the 1099R?  Do you think that the amount in box 1 equals or exceeds what the RMD is?  Thanking you in advance.
IRS form 5695 is in the IRS site, but still not available in Turbo Tax. Told it would be ready 1/21, but still not there.
