Thank you very much for your professional and prompt reply. Additional question about Part III Foreign Trust Balance Sheet of Form 3520A: The trust started 2025 with contribution to trust corpus (line 17) with the value of the apartment $300,000 (that was bought in 2024). Because in 2025 I paid $3,000 in paid expenses and I wired $500.00, how much should write in line 17 contribution to trust corpus as End of Tax Year 2025? If I add $3,500.00 to the Total Net Worth of the trust it would be $303,500.00, but actually at the end of the year the trust just owns the apartment ($300,000) and the bank account $500.00, so total $300,500. Can you please clarify how I should proceed? Thank you,

You received an email that we cannot see that tells you why your tax return was rejected.
Some rejected returns can be fixed and re-filed. Some have “un-fixable” reasons for the rejection and have to be mailed instead.
What is the rejection code or rejection message?
If it was rejected for AGI—-your 2024 AGI might not be in the IRS system if you filed late. Try using zero instead.
If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year. The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/00/26311
If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.

When your return is rejected, you should get an email stating the reason. A rejected return is never accepted, so as of now, apparently, you have not yet filed your 12025 return

After you have entered the information reported on your Form 1099-R, one of the follow-up questions should ask about your basis in the account, or any non-deductible contributions that were made to the account.
If you did not see that as part of the follow-up questions, you can also enter the basis of an IRA in the Deductions and Credits > Retirement and Investments > Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions section of your return.
As you get started in that section, check the box for the type of IRA you have and go through the screens until you see a question about 'any non-deductible contributions' to your IRA. Check 'yes' and then enter the total basis of the account. Remember, this is only asking for the contributions that were made, not the total value of the IRA.

To add to @xmasbaby0 if you can open the W2 on your device and take a screenshot, you can upload that image and TurboTax will be able to extract the information.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals. Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.

Until TT fixes the root issue, what I did was go to IRA Contrib Wks Form and on Line 19, update the amount to $0 with a note that no regular contributions were made. In the QTP-to-Roth Rollover limit Smart Worksheet, this changed lines e (ex. QTP to Roth) and i (ATP to Roth rollover in excess of limit) to $0 as they should be and correctly updated lines 23, 24 & 27 to $0. This has removed the 529 to Roth amount from taxable income.

Yes, you can set up a SEP plan for a year as late as the due date (including extensions) of your business's income tax return for that year. If it is an S Corp or Partnership, the deadline of March 15th may have passed if you did not file the extension, but if it is a sole prop, you have until April 15th or October 15th (if you file extension.) See Retirement plans: FAQs regarding SEPs.
NOTE: You can also look at a Solo401(k) if only for yourself. The SECURE Act made it an even better option in some situations.

Wait until your original return has been fully processed before you amend, and make sure you have saved a pdf of the original return before you amend. (If you do not save it as a pdf, the amended return will overwrite the original, and the original will be lost forever)

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

There are a variety of ways to enter a W-2. You can key it in by hand, import it, or using the mobile app, snap a photo.
W-2's come from your employer, and they have until January 31 to issue it. Some employers allow you to import the W-2 through the software, but for security reasons you still need information from the actual W-2 to import it. Some employers have payroll sites that will have your W-2. You might need to phone, text, drop in, email and/or snail mail an old employer to make sure they know where to send your W-2.
Every 2025 W-2 that you received must be reported on your 2025 tax return, even if they are for small amounts. Remember that each one of those W-2’s has your Social Security number on it, and that income was reported to the IRS by the employer. You do not want trouble with the IRS for under-reporting your income or have your refund delayed by having missing income.
ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return.
Go to Federal>Wages & Income to enter a W-2.
After you enter the first one, you click Add Another W-2.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/import-enter-w-2/L55HzdeDr_US_en_US?uid=m68efe36
And….SAVE YOUR OWN W-2! TURBOTAX DOES NOT SAVE IT FOR YOU. TurboTax will not have a copy of it in your account and will not have an image even if you snapped a photo or imported it. It is up to you to save it for your own records as stated on the back of the W-2.
