@user17736357016 CA does not tax unemployment benefits but, the Federal govt does. You should have gotten a 1099-G and regardless that the check was not cashed, it will be reported as income to you. You could do an adjustment to the income during the federal questionaire on the 1099G and then report it next year. I though suggest for a cleaner result to report it in 2025.
Hope this was helpful.

For an Inherited IRA, the names on 8606 should be "<owner> and <your name> BENE" or Beneficiary if it fits, and your SSN. If only one IRA distribution is involved and you're willing to e-File under <your name>, TurboTax will do the job of generating the proper amounts on Form 8606 when you treat the IRA as your IRA rather than Inherited IRA. Enter Code 7 instead of Code 4 . TurboTax can't track the basis on more than one IRA per person. @NCLC87

I have one CA single member LLC and I’m using TurboTax Premium. TurboTax says Form 568 will be e filed with my original CA return, but Form 568 is not included in my California return copy and I cannot verify it will transmit. I only see the option to print Form 568 and continue. Am I missing something or is this a TurboTax issue? I need to confirm whether my return actually contains Form 568 or whether my file is broken. Who can actually help with this?

Thank you @MaryK4 for your response. On 1. I do have my tax return copy to determine the depreciation i took for the year 2017. Thanks for clarifying as the other thread explicitly said file amendments for all years if you took depreciation for first and/or second year of rental.

At the beginning of the Earned Income Credit (EIC) section of the interview, TurboTax will ask if you lived in the U.S. for more than half of 2025. If you answer Yes it will check the box on Form 1040. That checkbox doesn't affect anything except the EIC. If you are not eligible for the EIC it doesn't matter whether the box is checked or not.

I was trying to download 1099s from RBC (my broderage), like I did last year. The 2025 version imported the names of my financial institutions from 2024. When I clicked on the "edit" button, and then tried to download, it did not work. I tried several times with the same result--nothing. I finally "edit" and then "deleted" the brokerages that were brought over from 2024, and then backed up and entered them as a new broker. Then it worked! So if your problem arises because you have last year's brokerages, you might try deleting them, and then enter them as if they were new this year. Good luck!
