No big deal. I only really can think of two people on this forum who have the expertise to deal with this particular scenario, they may not be online all the time. But I'll keep an eye on it as well.

This reject happens when what the IRS database has record does not match what you are recording. You can contact Marketplace to find out what needs to be reported on your return. If you had 2 different policies, you need to report each Form 1095-A separately.
Health Insurance Marketplace Statements | Internal Revenue Service
To go back to review your information:
Go to the Do you have Form 1095-A info ready? screen
Answer the questions and enter the details from your Form 1095-A
When you’re done, select File from the left menu and continue through to re-file your return

TurboTax does not have a copy of the W-2 or Form 1099. It would have a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement that included the tax data from the forms that were entered. The forms would be included in the PDF of the tax return in the tax year the return was completed.
Copies of a Form 1099 would have to obtained from the issuer of the form.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you cannot obtain the W-2 from your employer, then for a fee you can get a complete copy of a W-2 from the Social Security Administration - https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
You can get a free Wage and Income transcript from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $30 you can get a complete federal tax return to include copies of W-2's, if you mailed the tax return and included a paper W-2, from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

why do it unless the sales proceeds are more than the cost of the replacement shares in the nontaxable account
there are no wash sales for buying and selling the same stock within an IRA or even selling in one IRA and buying in another. That's because the loss is not reflected on your 1040.
You can even sell at a loss in an IRA and buy the same stock the same day in a taxable account, and there would be no wash sale. The opposite is not true. sell at a loss in a taxable account, and you will create a wash sale (you need to adjust manually because brokers, generally, don't handle wash sales that occur when multiple accounts are used) if you buy substantially identical securities 30 days before or after the loss sale in the taxable account.

We recharacterized $1619 of our Roth IRA contributions to a Traditional IRA in 2025 so that we could get a tax deduction for the contributions. What do I put in the Recharacterize reason box on turbo tax home and business desktop? Is “To get a tax deduction” okay to enter in that box?
