Following up here again to see what the next steps are to get this issue resolved so that I can e-file my return. I even deleted an asset from Schedule C that was new and had special depreciation in 2025, and re-entered the asset in Schedule C without any special depreciation, but that did not fix the problem in Schedule E with special depreciation selection at 100/50% for the rental Residence. There is no special depreciation taken anywhere in the 2025 return.

I went into TT and answered Yes to "Do all of the following apply to the property you sold?" as you recommended. However, because the trade in results in a loss based on the business % calculations, TT then says it did not sell for a profit and deletes the sale information. This puts me back to where I started which is to answer No to this question and enter all the same information which results in a small loss on Form 4797. The last clarification I need is if I put the vehicle into service 2 years after purchasing the vehicle (100% personal use for 2 years, then partial time business use in years 3+ and only ever claimed the Standard Mileage Rate, what do I use for Cost Basis, the original purchase price or an estimated FMV at time the car was placed into service? If the answer is I need to use FMV, I have records of what that value would have been at the time. While this subject is addressed under the Rental Properties and Royalties section of TT, it is not addressed under the Sale of Business Property of TT. Thank you @DianeW777

You only have to enter form 1095-A if you have a Marketplace health policy.
If you have Medicare (and no Marketplace policy) then there is no form 1095-A to add to your tax return.

You may be getting that message because you have not loaded your state returns before you are doing your file upload. I suggest you go to Online menu option and choose the Download State option to download your state return. Once you get the state return uploaded, close the program and start it up again and then try your file upload. You can learn more in this Intuit article.

In Turbo-Tax Business, Form CT-1065 is having similar problems to last year - where it's not populating the CT K-1s with the partnership income from the Federal K-1s. So I can't file my CT business income taxes. Is this issue going to be resolved this year? The workaround I used last year, clicking "not applicable" for the Pass-Through Entity Tax Election is not working as Turbo Tax flags this as an error and won't let me file the return.

Using the Easy Step method in Turbo Tax does not allow for entering Co-op real estate taxes to avoid the SALT cap placed on NON-Co-op residential property types. To achieve this, select "Forms" from the Turbo Tax window menu, on the left side, select Schedule A, scroll to "Other Taxes" within the "Taxes You Paid" section. In the description field of "Other Taxes", enter IRS§216(a)(1) Co-Op RE taxes allowed under §164, enter the Co-op R/E tax amount in the adjacent line which will carry the amount into the form to be totaled. Refer to: https://news.bloombergtax.com/daily-tax-report/insight-are-co-op-apartment-deductions-subject-to-the-recently-enacted-salt-dollar-cap INSIGHT: Are Co-op Apartment Deductions Subject to the Recently Enacted ‘SALT Dollar Cap’?

Last night I went on IRS.gov/connect and signed up for Secure Messages. This lets you manually upload information to the IRS. I uploaded not only my 5695 and a copy of the letter the IRS sent me, but also uploaded scanned copies showing the furnace information, receipts, inspection report, and anything else I thought might give them the info they needed. I also hand wrote them a note with information about the code being correct and many TurboTax users having the same issues with this particular code. I told them I don’t know if it’s a TurboTax issue or an IRS issue but that the furnace would meet the standards that qualify for a tax credit. I will update when I get a response.

If you are using TurboTax Home & Business, enter or edit your health insurance premiums for a plan considered as established under your business in Other Common Business Expenses which is under Business Expenses. If you need to update the amount, revisit that section. Entering amounts directly on the form is not recommended, and overriding an entry could affect your Accurate Calculation Guarantee.
Check to see if you aren't able to increase the amount because it would create a net loss. The health insurance paid is deducted from the net profit from the business. The deduction cannot exceed the earned income you collect from your business. For example, if your self-employment activity is a sole proprietorship that generated a tax loss for the year, you’re not allowed to claim the deduction because the business didn't generate any positive earned income.
See this TurboTax tips article for more information.
