How do I declare income 1099-Misc) Paid Cinical Trial
I am having this same problem.  The only way I can correct it is to delete the Form 8829 Wks but once I run the final check it reappears and changes all the numbers again.   Has this been fixed yet?

You can try deleting the officer wages reported in the Deductions section, under Compensation and Benefits. Then, go to the QBI section as you mention and see if there are no entries for Wages in the Amount and Adjustment columns. If that works, then look at the K-1 and see if it is OK. Then, look at your list of forms and see if there is a red exclamation point next to any entries. If there is, pull up that form or schedule to see what needs adjusting. At this point in time, all of your errors should be gone.   Then, go back in and enter the wages again, and look for any error message. That may allow you to reverse what created the problem, allowing you to go back in and try the entries again.
To clarify, has your issue been resolved?

I have a charge for state efilining but my Desktop TurboTax does not show that completed.
If you filed online, your desktop would not realize that. Therefore, your desktop would still be waiting to efile. I am glad you were able to get filed. @David_J

It depends. Tax software often calculates your "Safe Harbor" or estimated tax requirement for the following year (2026) based on your current year's tax liability. If the software determines that your required estimated payment to avoid underpayment penalties for 2026 is exactly $241, it may be capping the "applied overpayment" at that specific amount.   As a result, the software thinks, "You only need to pay $241 to meet the safe harbor for next year, so I'll move $241 over and leave the rest as a refund."    To get the full $627 to carry forward to 2026, try these steps in your software:   Check the "Estimated Tax" Section: Go to the "Federal" or "State" wrap-up sections specifically for 2026 Estimated Taxes. Look for a setting that asks how much of your 2025 refund you want to apply. Ensure it isn't set to "Apply amount necessary to avoid penalty" or "Apply minimum amount." Change it to "Apply entire overpayment."  Override the Voucher Worksheet: If you can click into the $241 field on the MO-1040ES Worksheet, try to manually type $627. In many programs, this will "break" the automatic calculation and force the full amount through to Line 50 of the main return. Review Form MO-1040, Line 51: If there is a number in Line 51, the software is forcing a partial refund. You must zero out the refund line to force the balance into the "Apply to 2026" line (Line 50). Before you file, ensure your Form MO-1040 (the actual return, not the worksheet) reflects the following:   Line 49 (Overpayment): $627 Line 50 (Applied to 2026): $627 Line 51 (Refund): $0
i did, but yours was the only right answer!

Yes, tax on total income is first and then reduced to the portion for just your income. This is just what the program did. Total tax $1178 minus $1152 credit for income not earned in Ohio.   Ohio  is among the majority of states using apportionment:  Look at your total family income for the year and determine the tax on that amount.  Then, they look at what percentage of the income was actually from OH to get a percentage. OH multiplies the percentage of OH income times the OH tax.  This is how to get the most income tax for nonresidents and part-year residents.
@ktaormina Next time---ask in the user forum instead of asking google....
I recently amended my return because I left some self employment information out and it still says on turbo tax my original refund should it update or will it stay the same?

The screen right after the entry screen for your SSA1099 was a screen that asked you if you lived in certain foreign countries in 2025.   If you skipped past that screen or answered incorrectly, your line 6b was left blank and your Social Security was not taxed correctly.  That was a user error--caused by going too fast and not reading the screen carefully.

@ SAmd_Prince wrote: In 1099 NEC form, I have PAYER’S TIN but in turbotax is asks about "Employer ID Number (EIN)". are they the same thing?   My second question is the turbo tax also asks about the adress for the bussines, and in my 1099 NEC form, I have "PAYER’S name, street address, city or town, state or province, country, ZIP or foreign postal code, and telephone no." shoudl i adress of this payer's name rather than my home adress?   A Payer's TIN is often an EIN used interchangeably.  TIN is just generic "Taxpayer Identification Number."  You can use the Payer's TIN in an EIN field.   As for the second question, I'm sorry but I don't know the context of the screen you are on. what exactly it asks for, and what the preceding screen was.  When I enter a test 1099-NEC in Online TurboTax I don't even get asked anything at all about an address--I only get asked about the Payer name and EIN, and the boxes on the 1099-NEC.  I don't know if you are using Online TurboTax or desktop TurboTax, but if you're using desktop TurboTax, I don't know what you encounter while entering a 1099-NEC.   However, are you sure you are entering the 1099-NEC in the correct place?   Hopefully you are not trying to enter it in the W-2 section by mistake.
Using the 99-9999999 as the fein cleared the needs review for me.

MY DEPENDENT SAID HE COULD NOT BE CLAIMED   Your dependent made a very common mistake often made by teenagers and students who are filing their first tax returns.  In MY INFO they should have said that they can be claimed as someone else’s dependent—-but they answered incorrectly and now your e-file is being rejected.   Your dependent will have to amend their return to change the way they answered that question in MY INFO.   They cannot amend until their return has been fully processed.   But you do not have to wait for them to amend.  Waiting will not help you at all.   You can file your return by mail, since mailed returns are not rejected.   It will take longer for the IRS to process your mailed return and delay your refund.   OR….Get an IP PIN to e-file.     GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return   https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-takes-steps-to-help-prevent-refund-delays-by-accepting-duplicate-dependent-returns-with-an-ip-pin-for-2025-filing-season-taxpayers-encouraged-to-sign-up-soon-for-ip-pin-online-account     https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin
