I waited until Wells Fargo Advisiors said the forms would be available, today. The forms can be downloaded from the Wells Fargo website. But the import into Turbo Tax doesn't work selecting Wells Fargo OR Wells Fargo Clearing House. Why did I pay $$$ for the convienence and accuracy of TT Premier when it can't complete a simple file import from a major bank? I've used TT for a long time but the complexity of my investments demands an import. I'm not chancing an error typing it all in by hand. Please advise when it's corrected! Thanks

Some have received a message from Charles Schwab saying downloads would be enabled on Feb 27th.
If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.
To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:
Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
Toggle the switch to ON.
Refresh the page and attempt your import again.
If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:
Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

Plug-in hybrid trucks (PHEVs) can qualify for up to $7,500 in federal tax credits on 2025 returns if purchased before September 30, 2025, but standard hybrids do not. The credit is subject to strict eligibility requirements regarding manufacturing, battery capacity, and vehicle weight, with new regulations potentially phasing out or restricting credits after Sept 30, 2025.

This is a new document and not actually required until 2026. A solution can be to enter summary transactions if you have many transactions. Your worksheets should include a summary of your transactions, grouped by sales category, for example, Box A short-term covered/noncovered or Box D long-term covered/noncovered.
NOTE: In 2008, Congress passed legislation which required brokers to report the cost basis for securities and mutual funds to both the investors and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), effective tax year 2011, the difference between covered and noncovered shares is who keeps track of the cost basis.
For covered shares, the financial organizations are required to report cost basis to both you and the IRS. (Form 1099-DA in 2026)
For noncovered shares, the cost basis reporting is sent only to you.
You can always use direct entry if you choose, with summary totals. The only exception if wash sales, which must be entered separately, if you have any.
Where do I enter Form 1099-B? (Ignore import) / Where do I enter Investment Sales?
How do I mail Form 8453? - Advise you mail this with your Form 8949 and worksheet

What code is showing up in Box 7 of your 1099-R for the Qualified Roth distribution? If it is code Q, it is a qualified distribution, but if it is code T, that would mean that the custodian of your Roth account doesn't know if you met the 5-year rule for the distribution.
These are only a couple of possibilities. If you could provide more detail about the1099-R, especially the code in box 7, that would be helpful to get you the information you need. Is the Roth distribution being taxed on both the Federal and State level, or is it being taxed by one and not the other? If it is a state that is taxing it, please provide the state you are filing a return in.

In my case, my 2025 AGI is above the MFJ limit for the Previously Owned Clean Vehicle Credit, and my 2024 AGI is below the limit. So 2025 income is in fact the reason I don’t qualify under the current year test. That’s why I expected TurboTax Online to open the prior year AGI input and populate Form 8936 Part I line 3a, but I’m not seeing that option in the interview. Are there specific conditions or screens in the Used Clean Vehicle section that trigger the prior year income test? @AnnetteB6
