When SBTGP can't locate your account, it's possible the IRS may not have processed your return yet.
Sometimes there's some information that is not accurate, such as Social Security number, and that results in delay the processing of acceptance.
You must wait 24 to 48 hours after your return is accepted.
If 24-48 hours have passed, try to contact them directly.

@DaveSwan , while I am not familiar with the exact screens for the on-line product, the windows desktop version of H&B, does indeed ask for / walk you through all the items for Schedule-A ( itemized deductions). Once it has all that data ( or you having chosen to not answer all or some of these ), it chooses/ proposes the larger ( i.e. larger of standard or itemized ). At this point you can change/select which you prefer. Note that if your filing status is MFS ( Married Filing Separate ), both spouses must use the same type of deduction ( standard or itemized ).
Does this help ? Is there more I can do for you ?

Yes, TurboTax Deluxe Desktop includes Schedule D (Capital Gains and Losses) and Form 8949 (Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets), which are the forms required to report the sale of any security, including municipal bonds.
FYI: You can click Forms mode (top right) to open Form 8949, and quickly see how all six sales are being calculated in one list as you enter your information.

Using the Supplemental information is advised when dealing with RSU sales. The Supplemental information contains the cost basis that you need to adjust for the sale, and usually that basis is not reported properly on the Form 1099-B.
Using the same logic, going with the Supplemental information purchase date makes sense. However, make sure that you are matching the Supplemental RSU sales with the sales listed on the Form 1099-B to ensure you are picking up the correct basis for each sale.

Yes, the Box 1 amount ($703) will be added to income, but for the last time. However, TurboTax sees this distribution and uses it to cut off the carryover without you having to do or enter anything special.
Just enter the 1099-SA and the carryover of the excess contribution will be done with.

TurboTax will give you the standard or itemized deductions, whichever is greater. It is possible to use the standard deduction for federal and the itemized deduction for state if applicable.

You can check your return in your TurboTax program to see if it includes the required Form 5695 using the instructions listed below.
If you are using TurboTax Online you can:
Sign in to your TurboTax account.
Select Tax Home from your left side menu.
Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
Select your tax year 2025, and then select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state; this just gets you back in to your return).
You can now check your return for Form 5695.

Click on "Forms" at the top right of your TurboTax return
This will switch the program to "Forms Mode"

Yes, TurboTax will help you decide. You do not need to make a decision before you start. In fact, the software’s entire goal is to wait until the very end of your data entry to tell you which one saves you more money.
As you work through the "Deductions & Credits" section, the software will ask you a series of "Yes/No" questions about:
Mortgage interest and property taxes.
Large out-of-pocket medical or dental expenses.
Charitable donations (cash or goods).
State and local income or sales taxes (the SALT deduction).
Behind the scenes, TurboTax keeps a running total of your itemized expenses.
At the end of the deductions section, you will see a summary screen titled "The Standard [or Itemized] Deduction is Right for You!"
2025 Standard Deduction Amounts
Married Filing Jointly or Qualifying Surviving Spouse: $31,500
Head of Household: $23,625
Single or Married Filing Separately: $15,750

2024 version seemed a bit crappy anyways and did not give much decent guidance on a few questions I had. It is time to switch anyways and file a paper return and let the feds use the return to heat the white house in their scrap mail furnace. Other than that I will find another app that works on my older PC with W10. Nerds

If you don’t need the income from your IRA the advantage of the QCD is that it reduces your AGI while not being taxed.

@mytaxesdone , very generally No. I say this because many of the credits that are limited/ qualified by SSN , generally use words like " must be issued" by filing date or during the year in question and "at least One spouse , if filing jointly". Thus the exact facts and circumstances and the credits involved are important.
If you need a more specific answer ( i.e. tuned to your personal situation ), please provide more details as to filing status, immigration/visa status, particular credit and of course the country you are from ( in case there is any treaty considerations ).
Will circle back once I hear from you --yes ?

This solved my issue. Downloaded 1099-R had the IRA block checked, but this did not transfer to the form in Turbotax without me clicking on it.
