This is an old post, but I am not able to connect Apex. I followed the instructions with my account number and social. It says it is incorrect.    I have a Apex username and password that works on the actual site, but it will not let me update it.  Any suggestions ?   I'm using Desktop 2025   Thanks 
This is terrible and unacceptable.  Looks like Intuit is lean on Quality Control again this year.  I ended up manually enter the data last year.  I hope I don't have to again in for 2025 taxes.
It did say that some transactions from my bank are pending. Is that what is holding me back?

When I started the desktop version, it offered to switch to the on-line version and e-file federal and state for $0. I ran into two problems - the online version does not have anywhere to enter any estimated taxes paid during the year, so it came up with me owing a great deal more than it should. Then when I got to the end, it wanted to charge me $39 for filing the state return. I wasted a good half day going through the process only to have to go back to the desktop version and start over. Be aware of this if you have paid estimates during the year.

Did you fill out all of the information in the TurboTax organizer related to the school, including the IL city in which the school is located?   I tested the credit in TurboTax Desktop and see all fields filled out properly on  Schedule ICR and the related K-12 Education Expense Credit Worksheet.   Here are the instructions for filing out the Worksheet, which may be helpful.

I am filling out my 2025 taxes and taking advantage of the federal overtime deduction (OBBBA). My understanding is that I need to add back the deducted overtime premium when completing the Colorado state return. I’m using TurboTax Online, but I don’t see a specific place to enter this—unless it falls under Income → Miscellaneous Additions. Does anyone know where this adjustment should be entered? Thank you.

Thank you, but I'm not asking how to report 529 withdrawals.   The issue I'm having is that TurboTax does not appear to be working correctly. Specifically, that the one time $10000 loan repayment entry - which in my experience I couldn't even find in the step by step view at all - was not reliably saved when I saved my work.   I believe this is a product defect.   My question is how to avoid that product defect so that my information, once entered, is always there.
Thanks.  We have downloaded two states and were not charged for either one.  When will we be asked for the additional fee, when we try to file a state return?
Is there a separate place to report a 1099-R?

Appreciate replies but still not understanding.   Calc is based off joint gross income and the 150k max is based off joint income and the 6% calc is based on total joint but then that result is applied on each taxpayer which seems to double penalize, what am I missing?

After reading several posts, I changed my default browser to Chrome and I used the Import from the file menu instead from the step-by-step and I had success importing both from Schwab and Fidelity.   
If two states are downloaded, which one is free?  The first one dowloaded or the first one filed? 
Having the same issue, called Intuit three times. No luck. Hopefully someone has a solution that might work...very frustrating.
