Same issue here. TurboTax Business, S-Corp, GA. Federal and State Reviews say no errors. Manually checked for updates, it says "Your software is up to date."

as an alternative, you could enter summary totals, but then you would be required to mail the 1099-B with Form 8453 to the IRS following the instructions on the form.
if all you transactions are type A and /or D with no adjustments, you could enter summary totals on schedule 1a and/or 8a. no details need to be provided to the IRS in this case.
A and D are when proceeds and basis are provided to the IRS.

if you used online, you can't get them. If you used desktop, they would be wherever you downloaded them. Whether they'll install is the question. On my w10 machine with the federal and state already installed and last updated when i did the return in 2022, the file wouldn't open because the update server was no longer available.
I agree with you that it is bull that TurboTax says nothing about this. On the first screen, when you install it, you should see a warning that says this year's app will no longer be functional after xx/xx/20xx.
something like this should be available for online users.
there is an online service, NOT AFFILIATED WITH TURBOTAX, that you can email most tax files to, and for a fee they will e-mail you a PDF of the return.
Because of this limitation, I strongly recommend that desktop users save a PDF of the return on their computer and a second copy somewhere else. You'd be surprised how many desktop users have their box go bad making the file and PDF unrecoverable

This is still happening in TY 2025... I was unable to force TT to allow me to use my larger itemized deduction amount. The twist this year is that the "Use Standard Deduction" box was NOT checked in the Fed Info Wks. So I checked the box "Check this box if you are itemizing..." in Part VI of the Fed Info Wks to force it to itemize. That worked.

if you did not use the LMR in 2024, just check none for every month in 2024 or leave that section blank.

TurboTax does not make this easy (almost impossible in interview mode), but in the jump to box type "capital asset sales" - no quotes.. That should open a worksheet where you can enter multiple transactions rather than go round and round for each transaction in interview mode.
For each transaction, you'll need to check two boxes: "no" 1) basis reported to IRS 2) reported on 1099-B
You must convert foreign currency to US currency if needed.

Quit the whining. TurboTax is an awesome program! So what if it is not done in FEB. So what. You have until 4/15 to file! Relax. You going to jump ship now and go pay some professional 100x because you are upset of a lag in release? I've used TT since 2009 and it is awesome and a godsend for those of us who understand math and wish to do our own taxes. I have multiple properties and I'd have to pay thousands to a tax professional but instead with proper organization I can file my own taxes for less than a $100. Wow. I love you TurboTax! Now stop the whining. @user17706743261 @chemdude

We are covering the both the employer and employee side of the Federal taxes not realizing that a nanny is an in-house employee when we started. I am trying to add that portion to Schedule H, but TurboTax ends before I can enter that information. Is it possible to add lines 25 and 26 from the Schedule H?

No, you are not understanding. I checked my IRS account, and it also says my refund is $3147. This is the first time in life filing taxes, and I have never been married, nor do I have children. I only graduated from a traditional college one year ago and started my career. And, the IRS account says the $3147 in my account as the refund, but the deposited amount is incorrect $1411 after all fees. There is a problem...

I am receiving monthly distribution as my late husband's widow from State Employees Retirement System(ERS). This is a "qualified retirement pension" correct? As I answer TT questions.... Original retirement plan owner=my husband "was born before 1/1/1952" (TT question). This is not a 403(b) Plan(obviously...) Then TT asks about RMD.("Let's get more information about your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).") "If your EMPLOYEE'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF HAWAII account was subject to a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), we need to know the amount that was required to be distributed by December 31, 2025 from this EMPLOYEE'S RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF HAWAII account. Do not include RMDs which are due on April 1. RMDs for the first year you're required to take a distribution are generally due on April 1. RMD due by Dec. 31, 2025:_____________(Need info) So, as I searched, Pension payments from ERS to retirees are generally considered to satisfy RMD requirements because they are structured as ongoing, qualified distributions. But what amount do I enter in this box??? All the distribution amount in box.1?? Thanks!

As other have reported here and in other threads, even after installing today's latest update, there is still no place to report 529-qualified lodging expenses not included in a 1098-T. Only book expenses can be entered in the Step-by-step, just like it was before. Update: Digging into the forms, it looks like there are lines for "Room and board" as well as many others (Other course-related, Special needs expenses, Computer expenses, Equipment, Uniforms, Transportation, etc) in both "Student Info Wk", "People wks", and "ESA/QTP Wks" worksheets. Why are none of these lines exposed in TurboTax "Step-by-step" mode? I understand that users can go an manually edit these worksheets and that they are not filed with the tax return, but the whole point for all of us to purchase the TurboTax software is for the "Step-by-step" process so we don't have to fill in the forms manually by ourselves, especially for common scenarios, like paying for education expenses with a 529 distribution. Could you please provide an update on when this issue will be addressed? Thank you in advance.

I bought a car last year, but my return shows less sales tax than 2024, when I had no major purchases. I'm using the estimation process, and added in the actual amount of tax paid on the car. Last year's tax estimate was just over $3k. This year I bought a car and paid over $3k in sales tax, so my total sales tax should be about $6k, but I can't find a way to correct the calculation.

for example, I skipped over income W-2s to look at next pages, leaving it blank, now there is no clear way to return, only to go forward to next subject
