This has been an especially challenging tax season, due to late tax law changes and losses in IRS staffing, which delayed getting all of the forms and instructions ready to deliver to software companies.    We anticipate the depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date. Please be aware that this update will affect depreciation for Schedule E (Rental Properties) only. Schedule C (Self-Employment) was updated previously and should be working in all versions of TurboTax.   Also, you can sign up at this link to be notified via email. when the forms are ready to use in TurboTax. @user17707423152  @vena784  @dhuber24  @baldietax
Sounds like we have about the same problem. I posted about mine on the 9th.

I got this reject code but when I checked IRS online for my wife's filing status for 2025 it is stating "not filed". We both have ID Me accounts setup so I don't understand why we are getting this reject code & IRS is showing we did not file as yet.
That update should have been processed already and you should have no problems.
I filed as soon as I got my w-2 and later that week I got a letter in the my from my job about all the overtime that was qualified to be submitted but it was to late so now I’m trying to add it

I was supposed to get my Federal from Cross Ruver today.   No surprise  I didn't.  A total of $254 was taken from my state refund on the 6th.  That day my Frderal and State eas deposited into to Cross River.  Their excuse was that it takes 1-3 days to process.  But, they turned around the stare thr sane day and are still holding my funds.  No one has reported getting federal funds released by Cross River, but all over the internet, various financial sites and publications and Cross River's own PR department starts bragging about spending $250 million on expanding their other financial departments.  Complaints leave been made to yhr FTC, CFPB and FDIC who want anyone who is experiencing this to submit complaints and updates.  Unfortunately it takes time for that to play out, but it must be done so TT and Cross River can no longer hold taxpayer hostage.  TT has had to settle one lawsuit and its obvious they got worst in their practices.  Tt said call back today if I didn't get my refund abd they supposedly will escalate.  But, I have no reason to believe they will do anything.  Maybe if the hundreds of complaints turn into thousands, we can finally be made whole.  But, we've got to submit complaints especially to the Attorney General in your state as well.  I will post an update if I get my funds.  Again.  Next year, TT is not the choice.  Post on social media as well to prevent others from using this company this year as well
Yes, you would select "None of the above" unless some of the options in that section apply to your situation.     @knuckles1742
The name is a change from prior years but the log in is an alternative option.  Your financial institution designs that interface.
@TerpTax13    IF you are using the "Online" TTX software, just use the left menu to navigate around to where you need to be.

@ludark_6 , having gone through this thread and agreeing with my colleague @xmasbaby0  response, I think we need to first get the basics  --  so please can you help by answering the following questions : (a) When did you enter the country and with which visa ? (b) From your post it sounds like you have a family here  -- is your spouse a US person ( citizen/GreenCard/ Resident for Tax purposes) ?  How about any children and/or dependents ( citizen/GreenCard or NRA )? (c) Which country are you from ?  If your spouse is not a US citizen, which country is he/she from ? d) Is 2025 your first year of US filing ? The above answers will let us make sure that you are indeed an NRA for  tax purposes and if there are any tax treaty considerations. Or are you saying that  the issue here is that the qualifying dependent for EITC is not  US citizen ? Generally speaking , if the IRS has accepted ( for processing ) a return filed on  1040 when it should have been on form 1040-NR,  I would wait for it to be processed  before taking any further action.    If it turns out that indeed  you needed to file a form 1040-NR, then  you will have to file a 1040-NR ( covering ONLY US sourced/connected income ), attach an explanation as to the error in using the wrong form, attach the form 1040 ( the one that was processed ) and send everything by mail.  Note also that  on 1040-NR, there is  "Single " or "Married"  status only -- essentially single  for tax purposes. I will circle back once I hear from you --yes ?

I think you are asking how to enter investment sales if you don't have a Form 1099-B reporting that. Just follow these instructions:   You enter investment sales in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Investment Income, then Stocks, cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc... Skip the section where it asks if you want to upload your tax documents. Choose "Other" as the type of investment you want to enter. You'll come to a screen where you can enter in your sales proceeds and cost basis.

If you see a "something went wrong" message, it may be a computer or internet issue rather than something to do with the questions you were working on. Try exiting and signing back in to TurboTax, and/or restarting your device, and then go back to the section you were working on.   Unemployment is normally reported on a Form 1099-G and entered in that section of TurboTax. See this help article for more information.
@jmotobo    Then you might be stuck staring it up by scrolling to it..   Unless you can find a local computer expert  (or teenager) to help.   Dragging and dropping works for me.
You say your spouse contributed to her traditional IRA but have rollover in parentheses. Did she make a new contribution or did she roll over an account?
This is insane that Turbo doesn't yell out "wait, don't file until the depreciation on your rental can be calculated and included!"
