For lab and x-rays, what am I looking at on the EOB for the year?
Got it. That makes sense. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. Cheers!
The proper way to file Form 8606 is attached to Form 1040-X. Form 8606 can be signed and mailed by itself only when you are otherwise not required to file a tax return.   @Socket1021

If it's only this particular section you are experiencing an issue with, can you try deleting the form?   To delete a form, it's best to do it from within your return. 1. Open or continue your return. 2. Search for the form name in the search bar  3. Select the Jump to link in the search results to get to the summary screen. 4. From here, you can select the trash can icon to delete.   Then you can re-enter the information. As a last resort, this should resolve the issue.  How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?

Both online and desktop versions of Turbotax are taking the Iowa low-income exemption when the taxpayer is claimed as a dependent on another person's Iowa state return.     On Iowa tax return Turbotax checks the "Check if using alternate tax (line 5), tax reduction calculation (line 12), or low-income exemption. See instructions." in step 5, even though Step 2 line 1 "Single: Were you claimed on another person’s Iowa return" is checked as YES.   Iowans cannot claim the low-income exemption if they are claimed as a dependent on another person's return.

It depends. Which TurboTax product are you using, Desktop or Online? Could it be an issue with your device or your internet?   Please see this help article for troubleshooting steps for Windows products for Desktop.   Common Solutions for TurboTax Online Issues:   Browser Troubleshooting: Clear cache/cookies, try Incognito/Private mode, or switch browsers. "Something Went Wrong" / Frozen Pages: Log out and back in, check internet stability, and disable extensions. Sign-In Issues: Use the Intuit Account Recovery page to reset passwords if needed. E-file Rejection: Verify that personal information like AGI, DOB, or SSN matches IRS records. Form 1098-T is an informational document.  It is used to determine eligibility for education tax credits or taxable scholarships.  The information is not reported on your tax return. If you are not claiming a credit for Education Expenses, and 100% of the distribution from your 529 was used for qualified education expenses, then you don't need to report your Form-1099-Q.  If you don't qualify for education credits and you used 100% of the 529 plan distribution for qualified education expenses in the year of the distribution, then you don't need to enter/report either the 1098-T or the 1099-Q.
By default, withholding is spaced out over the year for you . Otherwise, you have to space out your Estimated Tax payments in approximately 25% amounts.

I looked at it showed $0 because I was working for myself so I had a 1099 not a W2 so it was going to be automatically declined if I went further. I just want my $53 back from TurboTax.    When efiling, if it was asking for your 2024 AGI, that is what it uses to verify your efiling.  You have to look at your 2024 Form 1040, Line 11 to get the 2024 AGI figure.   Whether or not the income was from W-2 or 1099 is irrelevant.   It only goes by what figure is shown on the 2024 Form 1040, Line 11.      Most people are able to use the 2024 AGI shown on Line 11 of the original 2024 Form 1040.  In a few instances, such as if people filed late in the year last year, then it might not work, but in that case they try using an AGI of 0.   People who did not file a 2024 return at all last year also would use an AGI of 0.   People who are still unable to successfully efile after all maneuvers can print, sign, date, and mail the return if you wish.  But you may still be able to efile, if desired.   This is a community forum--not a direct route to Customer Support--and unfortunately, we can't help you here with a product refund for Online TurboTax.  Only TurboTax  Customer Support can do anything about billing issues, and usually they do not offer a refund for an online product.  They usually say that by paying it indicates acceptance of the terms.   It never hurts to ask, but they are likely to decline.   In Online TurboTax the fee is for the tax preparation--whether efiled or printed and mailed.   Efiling is free.   Contact TurboTax https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/contact/ Hours 5AM-9PM Pacific, 7 days per week

A State Tax Refund is taxable if you itemized deductions on your 2024  federal return and took a deduction for state income taxes instead of the sale tax.  You got a deduction benefit for it so now you have to include it as income. If you took the standard deduction it is not taxable and you don't need to report it.   Before filing,  You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/accessing/help/how-do-i-preview-my-turbotax-online-return-before-filing/00/26160

What if my union paid in 2025 for the spring semester (2026), but payment technically was maid in 2025, and my 1098 form, I am not sure, it's literally, I can calculate how much I paid, but their payments, by the union, much higher, because it's also includes for the tuition for 2026.
I have received a 1098-T for an amount less than 100 dollars, but otherwise have not and will not receive additional forms from my institution. Is there a best way to proceed?
