Once you finish your return, there is a survey and the developers do look at it and take it seriously so please fill that out. Sch C simply states IRA. In the NJ instructions, page 17 is Sch C. See here. One per IRA makes more sense. The instructions for that section send you to yet another webpage, Retirement Income.    References:  NJ DOR NJ Retirement Income Exclusions

Yes, you are correct. Here is how to enter.   Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Go to federal>deductions and credits>estimate and other taxes paid Foreign taxes >start When you reach the screen Do You Want the Deduction or the Credit? select the option you prefer for your situation If you select Take a Credit: Continue through the screens until it asks for income type. Here select passive income. When you reach the screen Country Summary, select Add a Country. Add Puerto Rico Other Gross income enter the gross amount of the pension. Don't enter the expenses as this may negatively impact your Foreign Tax paid. Foreign losses. You may wish to leave this blank. Foreign taxes paid. Select the option that mentions foreign taxes paid on pensions etc. Be sure to indicate the date these were paid Answer the questions about your foreign income, taxes, and expenses on the following screens When finished, you'll be taken back to the Country Summary screen. If everything looks correct, continue Finish out the remainder of the interview. Once this section is complete, a Form 1116 will be generated in the return and the foreign taxes paid will be properly reported.  @12StringJW    @ Oliver02

Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW). Enter some basic information, then go to the state tab and download the state program. Then try to open your existing return, go to FILE - OPEN

If you are trying to pay your TurboTax Fees with our refund transfer program, there's a known issue that it won't let you move forward if your “State refund doesn't cover TurboTax fees.”    Even though, you might have enough on your Federal portion to cover it.    There's no date yet as to when this will be fixed. Estimating that it will be fixed by the end of the month.    You have the option to pay with Debit/Credit Card for now, and it should let you move forward.
