You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it.  It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.  The IRS does not allow you to take it back.   If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.”  The changes will go nowhere.   Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.  If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.     If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail  it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally.  You will need to use a form called a 1040X.     Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself.  Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed   The Form 1040X is scheduled to be available on February 19.   The date is subject to change, so check on 2-19 to see if it is ready.   Before that, do not change anything at all on your return.

No, you can do this yourself.  However, It is too soon to amend your return. ‌You should wait until the original return is fully processed.‌ If you are expecting a refund and are amending for an additional refund, the IRS states you should wait until you've received the original refund. Then, you can amend as soon as the federal amended tax return form 1040-X is available for filing in TurboTax.  Use this tool to check availability of forms, including 1040X: Tax form availability   Here is some more information on filing amendments: How to File an Amended Tax Return with the IRS

It depends. If the field labeled "untitled" on your W-2 has a dollar amount associated with it that needs to be reported, the field should be entered; if not, it should be safe to delete the entry. If you have questions about what the amount represents, contact your employer.   In general, to enter Pennsylvania local taxes, report data from W-2 boxes 18 (Local wages), 19 (Local tax withheld), and 20 (Locality name/6-digit PSD code) into the local payroll section. If there are multiple localities, use the "Add Another Row" button to add more entry fields.   Steps for Entering PA Local W-2 Taxes in the W-2 section:   Locate Boxes 18-20: Look at your W-2 for Local Wages (18), Local Income Tax (19), and Locality Name/PSD Code (20). Enter PSD Codes: The Locality Name (Box 20) should contain the 6-digit Political Subdivision (PSD) code where taxes were withheld. Handling Multiple Localities: If your W-2 lists different local taxes in Boxes 19 and 20, use the "Add Another Row" button to enter each pair separately.
Yes, because they're providing those services on your behalf.   However, you can deduct any and all management fees or commissions along with all other ordinary and necessary business expenses.
Turbo tax for filing 2025 year does not ask these questions. Did I miss questions or was the program question updated?

If you are an enlisted active military you can use the TurboTax online editions of Free, Deluxe or Premium at no charge.  If you upgrade to one of the Live edition you will be charged as those are not covered by the military discount.   In the My Info section of the program, when entering your personal information on the screen Let's check for some other situations you must select Active duty military and Enlisted.  You are also asked Which combat zone or hazardous duty area did you serve in during 2025? and Where were you stationed?   After you have entered your military W-2 you are asked Is this W-2 for work you did as active duty military? answer Yes and continue

2026 now and this glitch has not been addressed. Inexcusable. I HAD no medical travel, so no "miles driven". There's a 0 in the box in Easy Step, but when I click "Continue" to, well, continue to the next window, I keep getting told the Value must be higher than 0; I tried enteriing "1", but one cannot in fact make ANY entry, so....? I'll try going to Forms as suggested, but this is absurd. Right now I'm logged out of TT, tomorrow is another day.
Having the same problem. After it says information was received, it doesn't transfer into the program. Anyone have a fix????

It depends, some employers have listed it in Box 12, Box 14, or not at all on the W-2.   It is best to use your paystubs to determine the total overtime premium you received, confirm the amounts on your W-2 (if reported there), and then follow the interview in TurboTax after entering your W-2 to make sure you report the amounts properly.   Here is an article you may find helpful: No Tax on Overtime Explained: Qualified Overtime Deduction Rules for 2025
Same problem here.  The Schwab person I spoke to put the blame on Turbotax, but since my other brokerage account transferred successfully I'm inclined to wait until end of February.
I can find where to report an installment sale, but where do I put in the amounts received in later years?
