We took out from from our daughter's 529 account for qualified tuition expenses. Since we paid the bill, I just had the money put into our account. The problem is we can't claim our daughter as a dependent because she is 22 and not a full time student. Now the program wants to tax it with penalty. Is there anything I can do?

Your answer as to which states you are filing did not appear but - based on your name - I am assuming that at least one of them is Utah.   When filing multiple state tax returns it is important to do them in order.  First, file an y non-resident tax returns.  Second, any part-year resident tax returns.  Finally, your resident tax return for whichever state is your home.  That will allow you to take any credits necessary in order to balance out the returns.
Have you received anything my refund was posted as 2/2 as well and i still havent received anything in my account.
Why was I allowed to easily import from Schwab to TT online, but cannot import to TT desktop?

I inherited an IRA from a deceased parent in 2025 from a local S&L.  I requested a check and moved those funds into a Merrill Lynch IRA, set up in my deceased parent's name with FBO in my name.  I can't seem to figure out where to note this was a rollover. ML insists thy do this all the time and the problem is not on their end.  I have read conflicting comments regarding non-spousal IRAs.  And I keep get hung up on in support.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?? TIA
@Nigel809 You can just leave the date of payment box blank in "Less common items" - nothing is required there.

Agree, trying to get live help is like pulling teeth.  Very frustrating.
Now I have to amen my 2018 return but TurboTax doesn't show me my return documents past 2020. Has anyone had this happen? How can TurboTax be held accountable for this, and how can I get my documents?

If you're using TurboTax Online, you can delete Form 8839 for Adoption Expenses from your return.  Then close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and you can retry efiling.   Make sure you don't have a W-2 with a Code T in Box 12, or the form will repopulate.  You could also step through the Adoption Credit section again after clearing your cache/cookies.  Double-check that you didn't accidently check 'adopted' for a dependent in the MY INFO section.   @SummerGirl26
