TT is adds my Roth distribution to NJ normal income even though I am over 59.5 and the converted funds were taxed when converted. The Roth was opened in 2021 so not sure how the five year rule impacts.
We received an IRS Notice  CP53E letter. Where do I go to enter my bank account with my account info>?
I talked with a representative from Turbo Tax  and she solved it for me. Thank you
@AmyC @PatriciaV the answer that AmyC posted wasn’t for my return that I provided token for, mine is the original of this thread

There are several steps that you should have taken:   1. Indicate on your Personal Info/My Info that you served in the US Armed Forces in 2025. 2. In the subsequent screens, indicate the type of military pay it is (active duty, Reserves, National Guard, retired), in how much of 2025 you were in the military, your highest military pay grade, did you serve in a combat zone, and so on. 3. In the W-2 interview, after you enter the W-2 data, answer the question, "Is this W-2 for work you did as active duty military?"   I did all of the above, and when I arrived at the Oklahoma interview, I did not get "You have reported zero in military pay on your federal return."   So I am thinking that you missed one or more steps above...

@CatinaT1 I installed the update that was pushed today. I still do not see a way to import a .csv from File > Import. When going through the workflow to add a digital asset sale, I also did not see a way to import a file. I know what my gain/loss is, but without a way to import the .csv I can't provide any proof of the transactions values (I did not receive a 1099-DA). It's now getting dangerously close to the tax deadline. What should we expect to do at this point?

@eumapathy48   Namaste ji.  Thank you for your answers to my questions.  For the year 2025: US will tax you  on world income ( i.e. income of all types and from everywhere ) from the date of becoming a US person ( citizen/GreenCard/Resident for tax purposes.  Thus in your particular case  all income attributable  to  dates  11/18/2025 through 12/31/2025 is taxable income to US.  You report all this income on form 1040.   Did you really file your return already and if so how?   I ask because , you needed to use ONLY itemized deduction and not standard deduction.   What was your filing status ? For the period 01/01/2025  through 11/17/2025 period, US taxes you ONLY on US sourced / connected income.  This is reported on form 1040-NR ( not supported by TurboTax ). Ideally you should be filing as a Dual Status --  covering the whole calendar year ---  (a)  1040-NR covering US income  during 01/01/2025  thru 11/17/2025 on form 1040-NR;  (b) 1040 covering world income during  11/18/2025 through 12/31/2025 on form 1040  and marked at top with " DUAL STATUS FILER". This would generally require signature, date  and therefore file by mail. For 2026 onwards, being GC, you always file form 1040 covering all income.  Note that if part of your income is govt. pension from a foreign govt / Social Security, there may be treaty considerations -- the type of pension  is important.   Is there more I can do for you ? @ThomasM125 Thank you.  That's exactly what I needed. Although you mentioned Box 20 has A-Z just want to make sure it has T, as well because Free Tax USA didn't have it for whatever reason.  Sorry don't want to spend money only to find out that I can't use it, like H&R Block.
