The 2024 W-2 can only be entered on the 2024 tax return.  You will need to amend the 2024 tax return you filed to add the W-2.   Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS. See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a current year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-federal-tax-return-current-year/L7eS6o1qh_US_en_US?uid=lfunevhk

@Jennestes07 wrote: Same thing happened to me I was given 67$ where is my tax money we are all definitely being robbed  If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return. For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/ Tax Products Group Contact Information - https://help.sbtpg.com/hc/en-us/articles/230084587-Contact-Information Call 1-877-908-7228 Or email - TPG-CSsupport@greendotcorp.com
My return has already been accepted and the w-2 isn’t for very much money but, I considered that it might be beneficial to file that w-2 when I do my return next year.
Just enter the half amounts in response to the TurboTax system questions.  That will get the amounts entered for you.   @scottpickle
Did all that many times. Pages never load.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.   Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

To automatically upload your business expenses to TurboTax, you can use the TurboTax Expense Monitor. Here’s how you can do it: Connect Your Financial Accounts: Link your bank accounts and credit cards to TurboTax. This allows TurboTax to import your transactions directly. Categorize Transactions: Once your transactions are imported, you can categorize them as business, personal, or split expenses. Import to TurboTax: At tax time, you can import these categorized expenses into your TurboTax return. You can get started with the TurboTax Expense Monitor here.   Important points: You can use the TurboTax Expense Monitor at the end of the year to import your business expenses. However, it's designed to be most effective when used throughout the year.  By regularly connecting your financial accounts and categorizing transactions, you ensure that all expenses are accurately tracked and categorized, which can save you time and reduce errors at tax time1. If you  use it only at the end of the year, make sure to review and categorize all your transactions carefully before importing them into TurboTax.
Did you e-file your federal return yet?  If so, was it accepted?    Are there any forms in your NJ return that are unsupported for e-fie?
I contributed too much to my ROTH in 2023, Removed the excess in March 2024.  Now  TurboTax is saying I owe additional tax on form 5329... for the amount that I removed.  How do I fix this?
The W2 issued by your S-corp would be filed with your personal return.
Same thing happened to me I was given 67$ where is my tax money we are all definitely being robbed
You can get it from whoever issued the form.   You may not need the actual form depending on what type of 1099 it is.

The new AC equipment would be reported as an improvement to the building, which would be depreciated over the same class life as the building (39 years for a commercial property). However, you may be able to write off these costs if you qualify for the Safe Harbor Election for Small Taxpayers. TurboTax will ask you about this election under the Assets/Depreciation section of your Rental Property. If you choose this election, you can expense up to $10,000 in costs that would otherwise be depreciated over a very long time.   You can report this under Deductions & Credits >> Casualties & Thefts. Be sure to check the box for "Income-producing property." You'll need to know the appraised value before and after the casualty loss and the amount of insurance reimbursement (if any).
What kind of 1099?  Ask the payer for a copy.
First time doing turboTax. I don’t understand why? It saying I gotta mail my Nj taxes
